My fiancé and I had the most amazing time. Met Kerwin’s daughter, Lauren, and a companion, Mike. They welcomed us in and showed us to the site. They both were really nice and made sure to ask if we needed anything. Super secluded and beautiful. Enjoyed seeing the animals and fishing the lake. Linens were clean and fresh, dish soap and hand soap as well as any additional cleaning products readily available. Wish we had a longer stay. I would note, the fire pit could use cleaning as there was glass, trash, and shell casings in and around it. Doesn’t seem to get much use though, perhaps that was reason. Would also suggest chairs for sitting around the pit. All in all, definitely a 10/10 stay.
Me and my wife are from Indiana and came here to get away from the business of life and spend time with the Lord and each other. Kerwin's place was more than perfect for this! It is waaaaaaaaay back in the woods and very secluded. Kerwin was super kind and helpful. He gave us ideas of things to see in the area and made himself available for any questions or needs we had. Him and his sweet wife were some of the best Hipcamp hosts we've met! We would totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all and spend time in nature.
This was a great value! Very spacious and room for many people! The towels and linens all looked brand new. The location is quiet and secluded. You can see farm animals on the drive through the farm to get to the place, which was nice. Kerwin was also very nice and responsive! The only thing to note is to bring your own cookware if you are planning to use the kitchen. We would stay here again!
