John’s place was great! It was quiet and each camp site was secluded from the others so we had privacy. The bathroom was really clean, they provided us with firewood (for a really reasonable price!), and he and his wife were super responsive during our stay. The small cemetery was well kept and the ghosts didn’t bother us at night! The white oak canyon hike at Shenandoah was only half an hour away, and the park entrance itself was an hour away. We would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay at Rest In Peace! This campground is in an ideal location with Shenandoah hiking nearby. John was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure the campsite was nicely set up. Don’t fear the nearby graveyard - it’s an added cool historic site tucked away from the campsite. Thank you John for the awesome place!
