The campsite was nice with good facilities, and John was a good host. HOWEVER, late in the evening, as our campfire was winding down, a friend of John’s who had been visiting at his house and was VERY drunk decided to come over and join our campfire. His presence felt threatening and he made our group very uncomfortable.

Why didn't you notify me when the incident occurred? I could have rectified the situation immediately. The individual you are referring to has special needs. He was told to leave the campers alone. Since he has special needs he doesn't listen very well and wouldn't hurt a fly. I'd appreciate it if you would remove the review.

The hosts were helpful and friendly. The site is beautiful and spacious. We loved the pond feature with the paddle boats and fish. If you’re looking fir a serene getaway, then check this out.
