Welcome to our little slice of Heaven on earth. We are conveniently located minutes from I-95 in the Hartwood area of Fredericksburg.

Our current camping spot is located in our large horse field where you can pull in your small camper and set up camp. We have a small fire pit out near the tree in this field. It offers line of site to our house as well as the road but it still gives you a feel of country. You will hear the crow of our roosters and the snorts of the farms horses. We hope to open up other spots in the future.

We are located close to historic down town Fredericksburg and some local battlefields. If your looking for local attractions our favorite brewery is 6 Bears and a Goat located about 10 minutes from the site. They have delicious food as well as beer. Another local brewery is A Smith Bowman Distillery which offers a free tour.

We do run a small hobby farm so you will encounter our friendly horses, dogs, and chickens. !

At night you will be able to enjoy gazing up at the stars with little to no light pollution.

Though we do have views of a couple neighbors property’s you will still feel like your in the country.

The front horse pasture at Agape Farm was a cozy spot for our night of camping. Even soon after a heavy rain, the ground was solid, and we got good use out of the fire ring. Plenty of farm & country noises as advertised -- lighter sleepers might want to pack their earplugs. Agree with other reviewers that the traffic on the road at night is quite light & the stars are superb.

We had a great time! The hosts were exceptionally kind and accommodating. Right off the bat, our pop up camper would not pop up! He worked on it with me for at least 45 minutes, calling his own family and friends to problem solve, and ultimately hook the gear panel to his own truck battery, which finally worked!

My kids had a blast helping with the horses and chickens. They demanded we return ASAP.

We loved having you and your girls here and the horses certainly loved all the attention! Hope we can host you again!

Agape Farm was my first Hipcamp experience. In fact… it was my first solo boondocking experience. Matt and Julie were exceptional hosts, and very accommodating. Their farm is in a rural setting, but not completely isolated, which is exactly what I was looking for. My dog Olaf and I became good friends with Bradley, the farm dog. It was also Olaf’s first time seeing horses and chickens! The chickens wandered freely during the day, but never roamed into my area. The majority of noises were farm animals, which is to be expected on a farm. Although close to the road, the traffic noise was minimal- I would guess a few cars per hour. Overall, I would rate this a good place to stay, and I again want to reiterate that Matt and Julie were excellent hosts… and I felt that they went above and beyond for me! I would stay again if passing through the Fredericksburg area.

My dog Olaf became good friends with the farm dog, Bradley. Bradley!Matt took me out to meet the 3 horses. Fun watching the chickens wander.
