Cockatoo Camp (trees and tracks!)

Welcome to Cockatoo Camp. This easily accessible group camping spot is situated on a firm sandy rise with a 360 degree view of the mighty eucalyptus trees of  the Redcastle region.  

There is a large campsite with a communal firepit. The footing is firm and stable. 

Explore the  miles and miles of undulating tracks suitable for biking, hiking and horse riding right out the front gate. When you tire of all that exercise there are the treasures of the Heathcote Wine regions within an easy 15 minute drive away. Wildlife comes to you!

We can accommodate up to four horses although you need to bring your own yards and feed.  Bore water is available for the horses to drink and there are wash down facilities.  Some of the tracks are stony so horses will need to be shod or equipped with good boots.  No riding on the property due to insurance restrictions. 

Terrier friendly, vaccinated dogs are welcome.  They can go off leash once credentials are established. 

Please note this a fully self-contained camp so you need to bring your own toilet.  Potable water can be provided if needed.
