The Toolangi (indigenous for tall trees) State Forest is within easy reach with many great walks and trails to explore.
The property Toolangi is found along a quiet dirt road, only 75 minutes from Melbourne. Overlooking the Yarra Valley, it boasts stunning views and a forest landscape that forms the ideal backdrop for a memorable occasion.

All campsites associated with Main Campground have the 'M' Prefix. Refer to map for their location relative to each other. Campsites M3 - M9 are currently undergoing some work and are expected to be available in the spring (September 2022). They are effectively 5 campsites (with a decent amount of separation) that have been further broken up as follows (M1 & M2), (M4, M5 & M6) and (M8 & M9). If you want the entire area for a bigger group, you should book both sites, (or all three in the case of (M4, M5 & M6)).
All campsites have access to the pool area (including the pergola and bbq therein) and the amenities block.

Dog friendly and spacious campsite!
Lovely landscape, squeaky clean facilities. The views were beautiful and the directions were clear. Brendon was very friendly and helpful, checked on us to see if we needed anything throughout our stay. I can't wait to come again with my family. Thank you for having us!
If we could give this 10 stars, we would. Brendan was the best host you could ask for, accommodating with pointers around the property, coming to check on the firepit and making sure the dogs were comfy - we will be back to use that pool for sure!
Nothing more I could’ve thought and asked for 😍 Brendans’ place is Magical and he’s Such a great host. Very friendly and helping (thanks for the fire 🔥 kept us going all night🙈) He made sure we got to our campsite as we were late. I won’t pick things and say they were good. Enjoy easy access to the campsite and expect nothing less than Wowwww 😯 somewhere on the mountain with spectacular views with friends/families. 10/10

Loved it. The facilities were clean and the host was excellent. The huge fire was going and ready to go. It was a pity it was too cold to swim in the amazing pool.

Brendan was a really welcoming host, really clean bathrooms, nice fire pit and amazingly landscaped natural pool.
It’s a perfect camp site for larger groups and want a close to Melbourne spot. It’s not the camp site for those who want the feeling of being completely remote but one for those who want close to Melbourne and the comfort of clean bathrooms.
