Thurra Bush Camping

A very quiet and lovely place to stay in a forest near a river.
We were provided with a place to set fire and toilets.
The hosts were very kind and helped us until we had everything ready.
Reccomended place to stay.

The most serene campsite ever and the hospitality of the hosts was unmatched. Will definitely be back to stay again.

Thanks Joe and Joanne, we had a lovely Easter break at Thurra Bush Camp with our dog. Loved the water, flat site, grass and the beautifully clean and maintained drop toilet was an unexpected bonus. We drove to Mallacoota one day and other than that just stayed onsite relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Lovely - it was so much space overlooking river and in grass and no one anywhere nearby (sites are very distant!) so completely private. Meant we could really relax and not worry about kids + dog being noisy! River and fire pits were great and toilet too! Thoroughly recommend - lovely spot and great hosts!

This is a a beautiful property and very isolated! Jo and Joe the hosts are lovely people who made us feel very welcome! The sight itself was massive and had an amazing view to the river which was running very fast and the noise was intense. The ground was slightly hillside but relatively flat and due to the rain was very muddy and slippery. I imagine the mud would not be a problem normally or at least during the dryer months. Incredible experience to stay here.

What a sensational place! We had such a lovely overnight stop here but would love to come back for a longer stay with some mates. Jo and Joe were incredibly lovely and the scenery is simply amazing. The property was easy to find and we made it in and out without any trouble in our trusty corolla and despite it having rained a bit. Thanks so much for having us!

A beautiful setting for a very peaceful night camping. Joanne and family were lovely. The directions were easy to follow.

A Proper Aussie bush campsite with some added luxuries.

Will definitely be back.

This truly puts you in the middle of the bush, star's were amazing! - thanks for having us Jo's - the family had a truly wonderful experience!

Fantastic hosts! An amazing property, completely quiet and situated right on the river. Huge separation between camp sites. Easy access to the river for swimming and canoes. The kids loved it. We will definitely be back!
