Fig Tree Gully Campsite No 2 is next to a dry gully and un-fenced-dam, this campsite is 110m from campsites one and three. This site has more slope making it more suitable for camper trailers. We have comfortably fit 4 adults in two camper vans, 4 kids in tents on campsite 2 (see photos), but we can be flexible on numbers.
***This site has a slope entrance. You will need a 4 wheel drive during wet periods and from April to October with longer grass making it slippery. Drive through for vans.
***Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - slowly.
***Kids under 5 free. Dogs welcome with responsible owners.
Afternoon and morning shade, fire pit and plenty of wood to gather. BYO water and leave no trace. All campsites have ample car parking.
Toilet - the "Throne Room" is furnished with porta-loo toilet, kitchen sink and water available for boiling. Covid cleaned daily.
We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to use the creek side pot-belly brazier & the BBQ.
If we have no other bookings you are welcome to arrive earlier and leave later, just ask!
Campsites are not near water. They are near a dry gully, with an unfenced dam.
Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district. Great site....had a wonderful time with friends. Clean toilet. Beautiful setting. Stuart was friendly and helpful
We stayed at site 2, which was perfect for 2 families to spread out and really enjoy the space. We couldn’t hear the campers at the 2 other sites. Such a beautiful part of the world. Stewart was very friendly and informative. We are definitely coming back.

Thank you for staying with us, & we are glad you enjoyed our facilities. Look forward to hosting you again.
The signs to campsite are clear! campground is really flat, easy to put up the tent! Great view on the way to the campsite! Stewart and Gayle are very kind and helpful!
The best thing was we can take our little pup with us on our trip!!✨
The only thing I didn't enjoy much was the road to the campsite, a bit rocky. But if you have 4wd car, there would be no problem at all!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for mentioning the road. It is a 3km farm track, made by us, with our farm machinery. Unfortunately the ground is rocky, & we do our best to pick up the rocks by hand. The track is usable for all vehicles - if you slow down. A great chance to enjoy scenery that might be a bit different, catch the views & maybe see some wildlife!
Utterly gorgeous spot tucked away at the top end of the Victorian high country. Clear and comprehensive instructions on how to get to the property, and on to the campsites from there. Spacious, lots of flat areas, gorgeous sunsets, star-viewing, and sunrises. Especially delightful bonus of a portaloo and a sink large enough for dishwashing — great after four nights of camping. Just take care to note which campsite you're at!

Fantastic camp spot! Beautiful and quiet. There are three sites and you can hardly notice them. Great toilet facilities. Lovely hosts with lots of knowledge about the local area and environment, could not recommend this camp highly enough.

We really enjoyed hearing your group spending so much time down at the creek swimming area. It was great to hear the happy sounds of kids, dog and families. We enjoyed our chats too. It was a pleasure to host Sarah, friends and family. Welcome back anytime.
Stewart is a very friendly host - nice facility, clean and tidy. Campsites are fairly apart from each other so other campers won’t get disturbed by our occasional dog barks. Highly recommend!
Great spot to get away from it all, very quiet & big sites. Beautiful waterhole and friendly wildlife, thanks for having us
Great spot. Plenty of space. Quite remote even though on farm property. Birds prolific
Reasonable distance to King Valley wineries and attractions
Absolutely loved our stay at Thornbridge! Plenty of room for our group of friends to spread out, we truly felt like we had our own little slice of paradise. Plenty of firewood provided by the hosts made for some lovely campfires under the stars, and the 'throne room' (toilet) was immaculate and cleaned each day. An easy & scenic drive to plenty of wineries and swim spots close by. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciated how clean and tidy you left the campsite, and how quietly your vehicles moved past the cattle. Glad that you found the road to the campsite scenic - a great chance to slow down.
