Nestled right beside the Murrundini River, all 3 campsites are beside the river, and well spaced apart for privacy and peace. Campsite 2 (site two) is shady, surrounded by tall swamp gums, black wood wattles and tree ferns. This spot is at its best from late spring through to autumn . Site One is a large flat area beside the river that is good all year round. It has fencing and gates, perfect to let dogs run free without going too far. Site 3 (Craig's flat), is a large open campsite, able to take more camper-vans/ tents with plenty of space. All sites have fire places. And there are plenty of fish for those that want to try their luck. The original home stead (built in 1876) burnt down in the 2009 black Saturday fires. There still remains many 150+ year old elms and other European trees near the toilet block, which are delightful in autumn. We have some fantastic views from the hill up and down the Murundindi Valley, especially at sunset. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them. Amazing, abundant & rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. Site 2 (the fern glade)
We loved this peaceful spot right next to the river on Michael’s property. The road in is well signposted and we arrived quite late so the notices were welcome to point us in the right direction. Very secluded and beautiful- the kids had great fun along with our dog. Will definitely return to visit - some good 4WD tracks within very easy reach.

Craigs Flat - Site 3
We loved camping on Michael's land. It's a great location right on the river. So much space for the dogs to run around, while also being safe. Good solar powered toilet within easy walking distance. Highly recommend, and Michael was very easy to contact and friendly. We will be back! Thank you Michael!

Site 1 (River side )
Perfect camping spot
We had a wonderful weekend camping on Site 1. The site was very peaceful, spacious, easy to find and was well set up, with a fire pit and grill/pizza plate, picnic bench, BBQ and some kindling to get us started. It's located right by the river, where our kids (aged 7-11) had a ball! We enjoyed fishing and managed to catch two! We were glad that we brought our own toilets as it was quite a walk to the toilet on site. Michael was a friendly and helpful host. We'll definitely be back!

Site 2 (the fern glade)
Magical setting & great facilities
Site two was a perfect camp site, close to the river and flushing toilet and protected from wind and rain by trees. The farm is super easy to find with amazing signage. Loved the walks around the property and the sunset from the highest point. Such a nice surprise to find tables at campsite.. A great summer/autumn camping spot. Would be quite cold & moist in winter though. I can’t wait to go again and stay for longer as you leave feeling really peaceful and restored.

Site 1 (River side )
Site 1 is a really nice spot, right next to the river and being fenced in, is good for dogs. Access to rainwater tank for drinking water and gas bbq supplied (BYO gas bottle). Only negative is a long walk (or short drive) to the toilet which is near site 3. Would definitely come again.
