Site 3, "Craig's Flat", is a large cleared area on the edge of the big paddock, beside the river. It can accommodate several camper-vans/ tents, etc. It is flat and dry, although the track to it crosses a drainage ditch, that now has an all weather crossing (see photo).

There is original native vegetation along the river banks, and newer plantings on the paddock side. Heaps of native wildlife and birds to see. This site is suited to quiet family groups, not for party's.
There are great views from the hill, and it is close to scenic reserves, waterfalls & wineries.

Nice spot beside the river and nice that it's setup ready for fire with toilet not too far away, especially for the ladies. Certainly felt quite secure and private instead of an over crowded free camping ground. Highly recommend.
What a great camp site. Michael our host was exceptional on arriving ,friendly and welcoming. The property was perfect right on the river and facilities clean and well maintained. We loved every minute and will return without hesitation Highly recommend
Very accomodating host. Huge space, very tranquil, and secluded place.
Spacious open area with plenty of room for the kids and easy access to the river. Flushing toilet is a bonus and Michael clearly seems to want to go over and above making sure guest have an enjoyable stay.
An awesome secluded location with loads of flat space! Fire pit on site, and flushing toilet approx 150m from site. Super easy access to the fast flowing river / creek for playful fun.
Loads of natural wildlife (Birds etc) with sightings of kangaroos and aerial wedge tail eagles.
Owner Michael read friendly and we enjoyed a bit of a chat with history of the property and ideas for the future.
We used the proximity of the site to do a day hike to Wilhelmina Falls 20mins and trip to Yea town centre 20mins.

Great spot. Heaps of space and not overlooked. Right on the river and I caught a nice little brownie first cast.
Michael has put in a very smart flushing toilet and a shower is under construction.
We were looking for a place close to home where we could just relax and unwind for a couple of days. This was perfect!!
We had originally booked site 3 (Craig's Flat), but Michael advised us on Saturday that he had a cancellation at site 2 (The Fern Glade), and we could take our pick!
The property was easy to find thanks to excellent instructions from Michael, the sites were well signposted and well laid out.
Craig's Flat was a brand new site, open with good shade trees if needed, and we would have been more than happy to set up there.
We actually chose site 2 (The Fern Glade), purely for its privacy.
Michael's property is beautiful, set along the river. Private and peaceful, it is a hidden gem!
Michael was the perfect host, communication was excellent throughout. He came down for a couple of friendly chats, and even brought us some home grown produce!!
Absolutely lived our stay here, can't recommend it highly enough.
