Island Bend
Beautiful spot!! Sadly didn’t spot a platypus, but could have spent all day at the beautiful creek! Warm and welcoming owner - lovely experience!

Amazing place and host
I will never forget the memories there. The host was friendly and warm, and the campsite was also a wonderful place that gave us unforgettable memories.

Island Bend
Great Break Location
Great peaceful and tranquil location. We stayed at Island Bend and had the whole area to ourselves (if you don’t count the sheep 😁). Plenty of things to do as it’s central to Bendigo and Ballarat and Maryborough just up the road. Looking forward to returning

Weeping Willow (main site)
Beautiful quiet spot
This was our first time staying at a hipcamp and we had a great time, we would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back if we are in the area in the future. A beautiful area with the reservoir nearby and our campsite was so peaceful and relaxing next to the creek!
Mark was so friendly and welcoming when he visited our site to check in on us and invited us to explore the farm beyond our site.
The written directions on hipcamp were really helpful and the property was well signed from the front gate all the way down to the sites. To get to the Weeping Willow site, once you get down to the creek cross the little bridge (the willow tree this site was named after was washed away in recent floods) and the site is immediately on the left.
The sites are nice and big and very spread out, the closest campers from us would have been at least a few hundred metres away.
Bring insect repellent and red lights for night time to help with the bugs.
Thank you for having us Mark! :)
