we loved the campsite, we liked the river that runs through it and the sheep that wander around in the mornings will definitely visit again in the future. Mark was a great host, came by to chat and make sure we settled in ok.
Mark was a great host and the sport was amazing, we will be back!
Best place for a super rustic and relaxing experience! Mark was really helpful and friendly and I’m looking forward to coming back again.
We loved camping at Mark’s. The Bluestone Barn was a lovely open camp in the quiet valley. It was peaceful for us and lots of bird life, but we could envisage this site for events (and saw the set up for a wedding).
We camped in swags on the sparsely grassed well packed open campsite and the level ground would suit multiple vehicles or RVs. There are shade trees nearby along the creek. Direct creek access is a short steep scramble over loose earth and offered a refreshing waist deep dip.
Mark was welcoming and friendly and we would happily stay again.
So peaceful and relaxing. We were greeted with a walm friendly welcome and then we enjoyed feeling a million miles from anyone. The trees and scenery was amazing. The chorus of birds was incredible. Campfire under a million stars. It was a very long way to the toilet but that was part of the adventure. We highly recommend for a relaxing get away. We will definitely return.
Great place to camp with family and
Friends because of the wide area where kids can enjoy biking and playing football or any kind of sports they want to play.
Very happy with the host MARK, a very accomodating guy and easy to communicate with. Wasn’t able to have some dip in the creek due to the presence of blue-green algae.
Planning to come back on Marks place but on different campsites.
Beautiful farm, bluestone barn site was very secluded and private with creek frontage and lots of shady trees around the huge flat grassy area for setting up.
The site also had a well made fire pit with rack for hanging pots on.
Toilet at the shearing shed was very clean and well set up.
Hoping to book with a larger group and come back soon!
Loved camping by the creek good cleared site plenty of room and some good shade it’s a credit to Mark for how great the place looks
Will definitely be going back

We all loved staying at Blue Stone Barn. The family is already planning our future trip there (if we get lucky with the dates as it always get booked up, especially during the weekends). There are other campers at the other sites, but we were so far apart so we still got privacy. A lot of free space where the kids can run around, and use their bikes. The creek is nearby and you could take a dip if you want (the kids loved it!). We were also able to fish there and managed to catch one. Wish we were ready with the right bait. Mark was very welcoming, accomodating and answered all the questions we were asking as it was our first time booking through Hipcamp.
