We stayed at Spillway View and it was great, enough space for a family of 15 including kids to run around without feeling like we were disrupting fellow campers and vice versa. There was enough shade to camp and sit under with the creek running beside our tents. Firewood and fuel for campfire were in place on our arrival and we were given advice on places to explore. It was peaceful and allow our families to just mingle and enjoy nature and each other.

Mark was an exceptional host who was able to assist with our lost watch which we left behind. He is very helpful.

We will be coming back again!

Camping on Mark property was brilliant. A really lovely bush property, loads and loads of open space. There were 3 other groups of campers on the property and you wouldn't know they were there, We camped at the Spillway View camp spot which was great, very private, and great access down to Tullaroop Creek for a swim and cool down. Highly recommend if you like a getaway without too many people around. Mark met us when we arrived and took us down to our camp spot, great host. 👍

Amazing spot to camp with kids, dogs or a quiet get away alone. Spillway View is an amazing spot on a beautiful flowing creek surrounded by fields of sheep and gums filled with every bird you can think of. My wife and i will definitely be going back.
Super friendly host and easy access to camping areas. 10/10

Third time at this working sheep farm. Had a fab time bathing in the creek and enjoying the nosey sheep and views. Even got to cuddle a lamb. Close to Marysborough for shopping, a good coffee and meal.

Loved the farm, reminded me of working on a farm when I was a kid.
Mark was a great host, really down to earth with a great knowledge of his area. His building of the bluestone barn is excellent and would be a future stay if he decides to go that way.
Lots of space, clean running creek, wildlife and camp fires that bring the night so alive.
We got the best sunset and a full moon in the opposite direction exactly the same time.
Would recommend staying there, toilets are a bit of a walk but that’s what you get in the bush.

🌳 Relax and unwind

"Forget CROWED holiday destinations, experience CALM this summer with Hipcamp" is the Hipcamp mantra...... but we found our experience anything but this.
More than 50 people descended on the camp site next to us, with a power generator, a full on PA system, hired toilets, huge marquises with lounges, and proceeded to have a 2 day DOOF DOOF party.
The first night had music blasting until 2am, which resumed at midday the next day, and continued through till after 12.30am the 2nd night. The music only "turned down" NOT stopped, when I texted and phoned the host twice, to do something.
Extremely disappointed (to say the least), that Hipcamp doesn't have crowd limits and noise restrictions (OR at the minimum, their sites adhere to council noise regulations), that should be endorsed by its hosts.
We paid $300 for 3 nights for a paddock, with no ammenities, and an experience I would rather forget.

We absolutely loved our stay. Mark was a terrific host. We’ll definitely be back again. Kids loved swimming and floating in the creek and watching the sheep wandering around. Lots of beautiful birds to spot too. We had our own toilet as it is a little bit of a walk with young kids in tow but only a very short drive if needed. The night sky was incredible. Great fire pit and even some wood which was great. The old Bluestone barn was good to check out too. We didn’t want to leave. Lovely energy and feel about the place. Good afternoon shade at the Spillway site.

Spillway view site looking away from the creek. Great afternoon shade.Gorgeous old River Red Gum at the Spillway view site. Lots of lovely Welcome Swallows.Bluestone BarnSpillway View site

Great campsite!
Good access to the creek, but no real swimming holes nearby.
Nice afternoon shade from the redgums and plenty of sheep coming to visit.
Bit of a hike to the toilet (short drive) but we used the opportunity to get some learner driver experience.
Would like to have stayed longer
