Give it a go
Jeremy and Daemon are trying hard to make this into a good camp ground, really helpful and honest guys. They've got several projects on the go to improve the place, but they seem to be battling council and cleaning up following freak weather. The current facilities aren't up to commercial standards even though the cost is up there, but the location is good. You can see it has potential, I'd give it another go in future.
Loved camping by the river
We really enjoyed our campsite! Even though there were other families around us, each campsite was far enough from each other that it felt very private. We ended up choosing to stay at an unpowered site by the river and that was a great decision because the sound of the river at night was beautiful.
It is a beautiful site on river banks and birds in morning were lovely BUT at this stage is no more than a bush camp and should be charged as such. There is 1 toilet and 1 shower but both in same room and no shower curtain to keep water in. With 16 adults camping that night there was a constant queue for use. There are no other amenities at all on site. The place has potential and owner is obviously working on it and is very helpful with problems but until developed should not be charging same price as other parks with shower and toilet blocks plus laundry plus camp kitchen etc.
