Great place to base yourself and explore the area , the campground is perfect for setting up tents etc. due to the flat ground , plenty of shade with medium sized trees and no large gums with overhanging limbs to worry about , also the shower and toilet are a big convenience and not forgetting the fire wood and fire pits available ! Swimming is only 5 min walk and if you bring a Yabbie net you're sure to catch a nice feed .
Only 25 mins from Echuca and 10 mins from Torrumbarry road house if you need to top up with ice or get supplies . Our hosts were unintrusive but available for any questions or needs we had so thanks Mick and Julie we'll be back !!

The location was easy to find. Indeed, the Murray River was very nearby, and handy for a dip and a spot of fishing too.
The site was clean, and has plenty of trees, offering much needed shade on those baking-hot days.
Loved the uber-clean toilet and shower.
Lastly, Julie came round and she is a lovely, warm, and welcoming lady.

Julie’s land is fabulous. The amenities are very well thought out, and their fire wood and barrel set up was really well done. We found a secluded spot to park our camper (on flat ground which us essential!) and could wheel over a barrel to our desired spot to have a camp fire nearby. We drove to the river to find a good spot, but great spots to swim nearby. Highly recommend and will be back!

I loved the experience at Julie’s place. There was lots of space for all of the groups that came to be separated enough for a sense of privacy while also having a camping ground like connection. There was shade from the hot sun under trees throughout her property. I met who I believe to be Julie’s partner as he would change the water or the bins, he was very kind! We had the luxury of wood and fire barrels for the night for $10 on an honesty system! The river was only a short walk from the property but not on the campground like it seemed. Their house was further from the property than some other places I have camped while was very nice for privacy but it was able to be seen in the distance which was reassuring. The house and the owners seemed very kind and approachable, thankfully we didn’t run into any issues but I’m sure if you do you have them to help you. Unfortunately my only complaint is not of Julie and her property but some fellow campers that gifted their kids whips and allowed them to make loud whipping noises almost every hour of day, night, and early morning. If some restrictions could be made to enforce some more reasonable sound levels this would be my only pointer. Otherwise this was one of the best places I’ve camped at so far it felt like a great example of northern vic wilderness, and the directions to get there are very useful and easy to follow! If you woke up in the middle of the night the stars were absolutely breath taking. The temp was amazing

Beautiful property. So lovely to wake up to sunrise and watch the sun set. Lots of space to find a perfect spot, really flat so perfect to pitch a tent. Bring a hammer to push the pegs in and take them out again as the ground is hard. Facilities were super clean and changed frequently. We had a fabulous time, Nice and close to the Murray and a 7 minute drive to the servo.
