We have over 100 years of association with the property as our Mothers family
lived in the Merri Banks Historic Farm House next door. Made from sandstone corner stones and Merri Mud Rock it was built C1847-1852.
We purchased the land and our brother Peter at Select Architects Geelong
designed our environmentally friendly house with double glazing, recycled materials, a worm septic, passive cooling/heating & native plantings.
With the beautiful Merri River flowing around, hearing the ocean roar at night and friendly farm animals we are grateful to live in this beautiful corner of the world. Great to host and share with
others.
A great stop from Great Ocean Road where you will get to witness stunning views, beautiful bird life and see animals over the fences along the way such as highland cattle, Persian painted sheep, angora goats, alpaca, and chickens. Strategically placed where you can witness the sun setting over the river.

from Glamping site."Dragonfly" is your own large 4 x 5 metre luxury canvas eco Glamping Tent. Awaken your passion for nature and the outdoors. You will be situated close to beaches in a hidden, quiet rural pocket of 6 acres on the banks of the Merri River.
Strategically positioned, it is the perfect spot to take in the sun setting over the river with a cold drink and nibbles from your tent. Enjoy Star Gazing and find your happy place with cows mooing and birds chirping while sipping wine and toasting marshmallows by the camp fire.

On site Kayaks to use at own risk. We recommend for competent kayakers and swimmers . The Merri River is not patrolled, follow Kayaking safety guidelines and always wear safety gear, life jacket.
*****All essentials and big camping gear provided so you can sit back and enjoy your stay. Just pack food and refreshments, cloths for the beach and as camping pack for summer and beanie hat for night.
*****Luxurious bathroom is a 150metre walk to Lodge- included double shower(MooGoo body and hair care products) , toilet, vanity, hairdryer. A device charging station and kettle. + Camp toilet located at camp site. NOTE...Spa Bath is at extra charge.
