Want to have a unique secluded camping experience away from other campers, sick of crowded caravan sites? or just need a tranquil break from the city or a weekend away from your hectic life?
Picture yourself now.............. sitting by a blazing campfire watching kangaroos and listening to the Kookaburra's song on sunset & sunrise.
Then your destination should be our 33-acre hobby farm situated about 80km southeast of Melbourne CBD. Campers can enjoy several choices of secluded flat grassed tent camping sites or if you have a caravan or trailer there are several cleared spots with wide tracks but have slight inclines so you will need to level and easy turning circles available on this unique peaceful property.
The rear of the property is bushland with cleared tracks and access to three dams on the property. The walking track is at the rear of the property and you can see this in photos, this is also used by horse and bike riders - vehicles cannot access this road.
We have all types of wildlife and birds on the farm, deer (not native to the area) will run through the property at night, you can see the deer tracks off the waterway walking track.
You can bring your dog as long as you keep it on a lead. The Bunyip State Forest is nearby with hours of horse & bike riding, or walking depending on what you like to do for fun. Eagle Pass Ranch (Roy Marchinton Training Stables) is nearby and if you book they can take you on the riding pathways.
We are nearby to Gembrook for the Kurth Kilm Bush Walking tracks - there are also scenic walks around the Tynong area. Visit Puffing Billy and take a bike ride along the Cockatoo bike path. Gumbaya world for family fun especially in summer is about 10 minutes away.
So come and enjoy the country life, boil your billy, toast marshmallows or visit the Nar Nar Goon Hotel for lunch or dinner - we have so many options for you - it's the best of both worlds here at the lovely Kookaburra Estate Hobby Farm.

Loved the short stay. Quite and peaceful campsite and the host was very friendly and helpful. Will be back..
We had a fantastic time camping at Leanne's. Our son loved the room to kick his footy and ride his bike. We loved having a bit of a bush walk. Having a pre built firepit was great too!! We'll be back for sure! Thank you so much for having us!
Absolutely amazing weekend on a lovely property. Site was nice and clean and there was plenty of firewood around. Leanne was even lovely enough to drop off some extra for us on our 2nd night! Will definitely back. Highly recommend.
Great for first time with the kids
First time camping with the little ones and we had a blast .Great setup so close to Pakenham .
Land was flat , clear and dry at the time we were there and Leanne was a great host . Came in a lowered 2wd car with a pop top camper/caravan and had no issues with access . Plenty of firewood around. We wet left alone and to do as we wanted .
Perfect little getaway with the fam
We had a relaxing stay at the beautiful Kookaburra estate farm. Talk about an amazingly beautiful, well maintained peaceful property.
Kids enjoyed riding their bikes around, we went for walks and enjoyed the trails. Easy access to firewood, close to shops and easy access to campsite. Fire pit already dug out and felt safe being in a private property.
Beautiful well looked after and behaved horses on the property loving life.
Owners were always helpful and respond to messages almost instantly.
Grateful these guys share their beautiful piece of land for families like us to enjoy.
:-)

We spent three lovely quiet nights over Easter at the well maintained and tidy Kookaburra Estate Hobby Farm in our caravan. Easy access to bush like camping sites, some sites are also suitable to caravans. Plenty of firewood around to burn in well contained fire pits. Leanne was a great host and checked in occasionally to ensure everything was going okay.
