We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at The Paddocks and chose to locate close to the facilities. We like finding quiet camping options like this where only one site booking is accepted at any one time. We were able to build up beautiful fires in the fire pit and spent a lot of time, sitting around the fire, watching the changes in the big sky and listening and watching the birds landing and passing overhead. There was plenty to explore in the local area with historical towns like Dunolly and Inglewood near by and the local State Park provided walks and the exploration of old gold history sites. There were a few local wineries but we did not spend time wine tasting
Anne was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed playing with her beautiful dog that visited us from time to time.
Anne a wonderful host at The Paddocks. The facilities in the old winery building were very good, especially the hot shower. Plenty of room for all of us and we even got a glamping tent for 2 of our party. There are 2 wineries within walking distance of the property and plenty to do in the region. We enjoyed our stay over Easter and will definitely be back!

We are first time Hip campers. Anne was such a wonderful host, that I’m sure we will be comparing future camps to The Paddocks. It will be hard to beat. Camping next to the vines, with old cellar door building as a camp kitchen. Was fantastic for the day of rain. Muscles, the black never tired of chasing balls. Anne also shared her fig, olive and pomegranate trees. Nobody complained about our dodgy singing around the campfire to 80’s music either.
We had a ball. Thanks Anne
Kylie
We loved our stay at the paddocks! Such a peaceful and pretty property. Muscles the dog kept us busy with throwing his ball although not a good sport when we played Cricket because he kept running off with the ball - haha
Thanks Anne for a wonderful stay, we will be back soon x
Excellent location, peaceful and beautiful. Anne is a very hospitable host who goes the extra mile to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. Will definitely return!
We loved The Paddocks. This was our first stop on a trip from Melbourne to QLD and we were certainly spoiled!
The place is beautiful and tranquil, with access to great facilities.
Anne is very welcoming and friendly, and she went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.
10 out of 10! I highly recommend it.

Had an excellent stay on a beautiful property. Facilities were perfect in the old winery function room, which is setup like a living room with kitchenette, mini fridge , toaster, kettle. Toilet and shower too. We camped around this building set in the old vines. Anne was great, helpful when u need but left us to ourselves too. Couldn't find a lot to do in greater area , but to be fair we didn't ask Anne either. Wish we could have stayed longer. Cheers!
With freezing rain and blustery winds outside, you wouldn’t think any campsite would be nice - but this one really was! Hot showers, a loo and a little room to escape to when the weather turns, plus a super safe site for the kids to explore and run around of, it is a great spot, and the host was so generous, welcoming and insightful!

We had a wonderful time at The Paddocks. Anne is a excellent host, and made us feel welcome and well looked after. The children loved the space, the chickens, and Muscles the dog. We couldn't have had a nicer weekend away.

Hello Inae, Danny and Loius, Thank you for being such wonderful guests. I accidentally pushed the send button on my previous comment. What I meant to say was "No worries " and then say how lucky we have been to have had you choose us as a place to stay. We certainly would recommend you as fantastic guests and wish you all the best for the future. Best wishes Anne, Mark, Muscles and the chooks.
