Beautiful area. Quiet and peaceful. The friendly site keeper Rawk even offered a hot cup of tea while I set up camp. I'll definitely be back

Great spot Maggie, our family plus dog really enjoyed your property and exploring the bush land. Made use of the recently installed 240V/10A outlet right next to the caravan location. Kids enjoyed the campfire and toasting marshmallows. Recommend 4wd if with caravan as slightly steep on exit to main road, we were ok but we may have struggled if wet.

What a find!
Maggy is lovely and told us about the aboriginal birthing tree and showed us the fun track to find the creek. The grounds keeper is very helpful and you wouldn't know he is there unless you need him. Just the way we like it for a relaxing weekend.
The grounds and view is beautiful.
Rustic rural retreat into nature
This is a stunning location, I’m reluctant to say how lovely incase next time we go it’s really busy.
Maggie was amazing, and we will definably go back.
We had issues setting up the van at the first pitch we choose and Maggie and her friend helps us so so much. Eventually we moved to a different pitch which was much easier.
The camp is being set up by Maggie at the moment and work is ongoing (but not actively so it is disruptive at all, I assume she does the work in quiet periods). But as such the pitches are not all prim and perfect. They are not all set, flat and square. However, this adds to the charm of the place and you really are camping in nature. If you don’t need electric or water there are plenty more options, as it was the first time we took our van out we wanted those options.
We will defiantly be back.

I had a very peaceful stay at Maggie’s Campsite. Situated between the trees in a wonderful location in Yarra Ranges I could have easily stayed another week. Was in my own in this trip but will be coming back next with the family to explore more of the local Kinglake area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maggie's block. Being surrounded by native bush and wildife was relaxing, and we especially loved the friendly family of Kookaburra's who shared our space. Maggie was very helpful with answering all questions relating to our stay and had good local knowledge.
The bush block is on a quiet road and only a couple of minutes drive from Kinglake township. From the block we did trips to Yea, Healesville, Marysville, Hurstbridge and Whittlesea.
Our dog was particularly happy there were no fireworks on NYE. We were very grateful our dog was welcome too.
Thanks Maggie.
