A great bush camping weekend so close to town. Nicely maintained campsite next to a still pond with fireplace and all the firewood you will need. Portaloo was such a luxury! Friendly hosts who checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

The Yabby campsite is a nice, peaceful camping spot right next to a little pond, trees and fields.
We had a very good experience and the owner, Melissa, made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful in any queries we had.
I would recommend it to anyone and will likely be back there again!

Quiet site with easy access to fresh water and a clean portaloo. Was a very lovely way to spend an afternoon watching the sun go down and the frogs of the dam start croaking. Amazingly few mosquitos given the proximity to the dam. Only downside is that here isn’t a perfectly flat spot for a tent. Would be perfect for campervan or trailer.

It was peaceful with the dam and the horses in the paddock who peered over from time to time. The portaloo was immaculately clean and amenities like hand soap and toilet paper were provided. We bought farm fresh eggs from Melissa and they were amazing!
Beautiful spot, would go again. Pro tip though bring earplugs for the night....forgot how loud nature (frogs) can get.

Such a peaceful spot, and Mel and her family (and her horses) were lovely hosts. Water tap and portable toilet with toilet paper and hand soap were approximately 50 metres away. Having some dry wood upon arrival and easily accessible wood piles around the property for the campfire was very convenient. The newly built 20-minute walk through the woods on the property that ended at one of the dams is such a lovely walk! I have to mention that knowing it was a high chance of rain while I'm packing down the next day, the hosts kindly offered and set up a gazebo over my tent to help with not getting too wet during the pack down! Thanks guys!

This was a great little campsite and so conveniently located just an hour from Melbourne. The family that own this land were super friendly and accommodating, they even brought their horses up for a Pat and an apple. Our toddlers were quite enamoured with the ‘horse us’. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
