Welcome to the Victorian High Country! The High Country region has award winning craft breweries, a rich history to explore and offers a beautiful spot for bush horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, exploring or just relaxing around a camp fire đŸ”„. Ideal location to bring your horse to explore Mt Buffalo national park. Horses to be kept in yards provided for $10 per horse per night. If you are one group please don’t book separate camp sites. Camps sites can have upto 20 adul on them. Teenagers 13 and over to pay $25 per night This campsite offers toilet amenities (no shower), a dedicated firepits. All pets need to be previously organised by message. If you are after total peace and quite please don’t book Christmas ,Easter or long weekends . Off peek during the week is very quite. Located approximately 3 hours from Melbourne, this property is within a short range of the snowfields andthe bike trails around Bright and Beechworth. Experience the local wineries, the Milawa cheese factory and Lake Buffalo. Explore the breath-taking scenery while walking, cycling or paddling through. We are just an hour from Mt Hotham and Mt Buffalo for ski season.Welcome to the Victorian High Country! High Country Paradise
Had a wonderful 7 nights stay at High Country Paradise. The sites were extremely spacious and spread out to give everyone their privacy. Loretta met us at the gate and took us to our site. All sites and facilities looked very well maintained. One of the best sites we stayed at. Thank you.

Great location for family camping
Brilliant spot in a lovely part of the high country. Great mix of being 10 minutes from town, while still feeling like the middle of nowhere. Loretta was a generally outstanding host. Not an isolated stay as you'll be seeing and interacting with other groups as you drive past them on the long property and at the shared and decidedly rustic toilets, but if you're OK with that, we haven't stayed anywhere better. Great easy car and caravan/camper access to most sites, plentiful wood for $50, creek access that was great for the kids to play in, and views to Buffalo. Had a really lovely week here.

Loved camping by the creek at High Country Paradise. Beautiful spot, lots of wildlife and friendly cows, surrounded by national Park. Loved stargazing by the fire in the evening!

Highly recommended
The views are incredible, very relaxed camp-site and close to so many amazing locations in the VIC high country. Recommend Site 7 and 8 if you don't have your own toilet. No shower facilities so if not in a Camper Trailer or caravan you will need to factor that in.
