Galloping Gypsy Getaway was exactly what we needed as a little getaway after lock down. You get hit with the stunning views the second you turn down School Road. We camped and there was plenty of space and options to choose from. Kate and Steve were both very welcoming and helpful. Their pet dogs Romi and Belle were very friendly and great company by the fire (however Kate and Steve made sure we were fine with them being there). The new calves were walking distance away and we got to say hello.
The facilities were perfect as we didn't have much utensils camping wise and the kitchen area was great for pepping our meals and fridge to keep our food cold.
The hangout area undercover with the couches was super relaxing and we had a lovely time taking in the view and watching the sun set by the outdoor fire.
Bunyip state forest is only a 5 mminute drive away with wonderful walking options. We walked along the aquaduct the following day and it was lovely to be out and about in nature.
Would highly recommend this stay whether you're a couple or family. Caters to multiple needs :) thanks again Kate and Steve!
