Once part of the "Wandi Station" which was the largest cattle farming property in the Wandiligong Valley owned by the Fletcher family. 60 years later, the "Wandi Station" is only in our memories, but this land still remains in our Family, and is here for you to enjoy. If you're looking to get wild and escape to a beautiful, private piece of rural land in the Wandiligong Valley, then Christie's Crossing is for you. 19 acres of mostly cleared rural land perfect for unwinding in nature away from the crowds. Enjoy the stunning backdrop of native Australian bushland, home to a variety of wildlife. Bring you walking shoes, fishing gear, kayak, mountain bike or just a good book……better still write a book while your here! Firepits are supplied (please note that campfires are weather dependant). 4WD/AWD only access through a shallow creek. The creek can get quite deep after heavy rainfall. Caravans and motorhomes should be off road capable and be completely self sufficient and suitable for free camping. Suitable for tents/swags if you have a portable toilet and all other necessities. There is no waste disposal of any sort on the property. 15 minutes drive to Bright, or 5 minutes to the recently opened 5 Acres Cafe and the award winning Wandi Pub in Wandiligong. No firearms and no shooting on the land under any circumstances. Keep the wildlife protected. No parties unless by prior arrangement.

You won't be disappointed!

Christie's Crossing is an absolute gem and possibly my all time favourite Hipcamp. The location is just spectacular – remote but also so close to Bright. We had the luxury of being the only campers during our stay but the campsites are all well spaced apart. Already plotting a repeat visit!

Christie's Crossing Camping

We've absolutely loved Christie's Crossing farm stay. Located few kilometres out of Bright, it was a perfect place to stay away from all the crowds but close enough to all the attractions. With extremely spacious sites, kangaroos and kookaburras near by it was really nice to sit back and relax while kids explored the farm.

Pretty scenery with rolling mist down the mountain, and lovely big camp sites. The track to the site wasn't too rough (I have a high clearance 4wd and 4wd experience, though), and the Christies Crossing is a good base to use to further explore the region. My daughter and I are looking forwards to staying again sometime soon.
