Barunah Plains is one of Victoria’s oldest sheep stations. We have opened it up to caravans to share the space with travellers who are working their way around Australia. Our caravan sites are limited currently to five.
Our camping/van spots are the perfect getaway spot. Located on the heart of the Western District, you’ll feel truly hidden away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Plenty of spots to explore, the old buildings and farm are all heritage listed. A walk along the Warrambine Creek searching for the resident platypus is always fun. If you feel like venturing out further you can visit the nearby Great Ocean Road, a hit of golf at the Inverleigh golf club or dinner and few drinks at the Inverleigh pub. Head ten minutes further for the best steak in the region at the Beeac Pub.
