Beautiful view, quiet campspot tucked in!

I car and tent camped out on one of the upper meadow sites on Mike's land with my wife and two younger children. The views from up there are astonishing and we enjoyed quiet throughout our visit. The mountain-fed outdoor cold shower at our very spacious site offered a refreshing way to start and end our days out hiking the area or visiting the relaxing lake at the state park down the hill from Mike's property. Down at Mike's farmhouse you will find a gathering of poultry animals almost always about, so you can expect children to have a good time with that. Mike and his lovely family were always around or nearby if one of the campers needed any assistance. Mike himself is a very outgoing and pleasant fellow, a great conversation, and a very hospitable host. I will certainly be visiting his land again.

A beautiful, spacious site with a great view of the range across the valley. Private and quiet, good for listening to nature in the mornings and afternoons.

Beautiful views and very private

Loved the view and privacy. Mike was a great host and our son loved watching the chickens run around. Loved how close it was to the park, we had an awesome time.

We love Mike's place and it's become synonymous with camping. The spot is quiet, peaceful, and private with great views. Always kept clean. Toilet is even more private now and the shower is refreshing. Mike's a great guy.

We loved camping here. Mike and his farm animals greeted us, help us find our site on his farm, offered us wood and to use the pizza oven then was off on his way. The sites are privately set in different fields that offer gorgeous views of the valley and mountains. There's a spring on his land so the water (and shower) is cold and refreshing. There's also a lake in the state park across the street which seems to be fed by the spring too, just a walk away.

Mike is a wonderful host. He is very friendly and welcoming. The farm is beautiful. We had several acres to ourselves and it was peaceful and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. Nice flat site, chairs, picnic table, fire ring, outdoor shower, sperate toilet and beautiful mountain view. This is our second stay at the farm and we are grateful that Mike shares his land with us hipcampers. Looking forward to a return trip!

Had a great time on a late October weekend. Amazing views of the foliage during the day and the stars at night. Our van with 9.5’ clearance rode up the hill to the site just fine (took it slow under some branches). Great location with nearby hiking and the town of Manchester. Mike was a great host and generously made us coffee. Would love to return!
