Our homestead is a judicious 20-acre mixture of meadow, woodland, orchard, gardens, and wild and cultivated berry patches. Lots of opportunities to interact with wildlife (and my livestock dogs, haha), explore the woods and sit in the peace of wild things. Surplus eggs and extra seasonal produce (grown, foraged) for sale when available. A very rewarding and strenuous hike leads you down into a beautiful secluded brook, with waterfalls and swimming holes. An absolutely magical spot you will most likely get to soak in in complete solitude. Other great hiking throughout our woods and nearby in Jamaica and Townshend state parks. Dogs not encouraged, but not prohibited under certain circumstances. Travelers with dogs please message us before booking! Emma was very accommodating and easy to work with . She is a fantastic host, really going out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Their place is very special, very beautiful. This was a great getaway for us. Thank you!

Cozy spot with a caring host
My two boys and I stayed here to camp and ski. The host met us on our arrival and reached out to us during our stay. We had a great time!

Overall it was a good experience, but we felt there were several details that were missing. The site felt a little like no one had been there for awhile so it felt a little forgotten about and not very representative of the pictures. Emma was mostly responsive and made sure we were set up with the help of the person living in the cabin right by the campsite. Just a little bit of weird vibes, but it was a beautiful spot with a great view.

Gorgeous land! Emma’s property was a great little gateaway spot. From her family and dogs to tons of little swimming holes. It was nice and relaxing.
