Our 4 acre QUIET BEAUTIFUL country spot bordering a pristine BROOK; great to get-away with a total of only 2 sites on the land (“Wishbone Left and Right” marked). There are several new places where you can set up camp.
Please NOTE that the other side of the brook is PRIVATE and walking up river over 350 meters our River Frontage ends. Please do NOT go past the Bridge up river so our neighbors can have their PRIVACY. At the bottom of the driveway the road wishbones left and right. Back your vehicles in to the site on the left side about 100 yards down the driveway Or drive through before it levels out (it’s a loop). I suggest backing in trailers though if you go to the end of the driveway you can turn around and drive in on the way back. Our driveway ends at the abandoned house (closed up but that it gives Wifi to the Wishbone Right site).
There is plenty of room for an RV/ camper and tent sites. There is additional parking for more vehicles on this site too which you will see when you are there just above the site (upper portion of the loop). The “Wishbone Left” site is private from the other site on this property. Enjoy the music of the Brook. No running water in Winter though we can provide 5 gallon drinking water in portable container.
In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or you park up by entry and hike in so you can easily get out. WIFI near next site if you need for emergencies.

This is a great secluded camping spot with some amenities that are greatly appreciated. Beautiful spot by a nice river. We camp off grid a lot so we bring everything we need, however it was nice having quick access to a shower/running water. It was very peaceful listening to the river all night. Roy was very easy to get ahold of and responded very quickly! Great host, great campsite! Highly recommend!!
Definitely off the beaten path but in a good way. Very quiet and secluded with only the sounds from the stream below.
Good directions and Roy left the lights on for our late arrival.
We had such a wonderful time at wishbone left! Roy was very responsive and available for any issues or questions. He also was happy to provide recommendations to explore the area. Our family had a wonderful few days away from our busy lives and spend some quality time together!
Spacious. Babbling brook was fantastic. Lots of amenities. I was initially concerned about proximity to Wishbone Right, and while it was empty (and thus couldn't tell if sound would travel), there was no visibility between the two sites. They do share the privy.
What a great spot right by the brook! The sounds of the water flowing is so relaxing! We had such a wonderful stay. Communication with Roy was excellent and he had Gus who lives up the road help with anything we needed during our stay. He was so kind. Highly recommend!
Roy, was great from start to finish. Super nice and very responsive. The sites were great camp sites in a great area. Totally would recommend.
Great spot! 10 out of 10 will come back again. Bit pricy but other than that I loved it!

Thanks Tim… it will be even more beautiful this Fall so I hope you return then. I did take your advice, knowing this is one of our most popular sites, and reduce the price during the weekend and the week so more people can enjoy the space. Be WellandThrive! Roy
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Wishbone. Roy was super responsive providing all essential information needed for a comfortable stay. The site is down a steep dirt road and high above a river with great river sounds to relax by. Our dog loved exploring the area. Many ticks though, so come prepared with permethrin and picaridin sprays. We brought our teardrop camper towed with Subaru XT and had no issues getting in and out but not sure a longer rig could manage it easily. We are looking forward to another stay on Roy's land - maybe next time at his open field mountain view sites, which have fantastic views.
Roy was fantastic, very helpful with great recommendations. We stayed for 4 nights with our golden retriever, and despite some colder weather we all had a BLAST. Can't wait to return when it's warmer!
(p.s. everyone try the artichoke heart sandwich from The Works cafe in Brattleboro.)

Thank you… we just expanded your site so that mound of earth that was behind you is moved to fill in the project by the old house. Your site is now twice as big and we are seeding for new grass today. Be WellandThrive! Roy
