The accommodation is a renovated 1966 greenbrier van. Looks kinda like the scooby doo van. With a full size mattress, hardwood floor, little dining bench and a view of the pond, its a cozy place to hang. Fire pit right outside the van, and a trail down to waters edge. There is also a cabin near by and plenty of room for tents if you have friends that want to join.

What a beautiful trip!!
The van. The pond. The open stars. Everything. Ross had set up the van with such great intention of me being there for 4 nights. I made myself right at home. I would recommend to anyone and will return sometime myself!
The van by the pond was perfect! Just the right amount of seclusion, very clean and safe, and had everything I needed. The property was beautiful. And Ross was a wonderful host - very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend it for a weekend away!
Great stay in the van
Exceeded expectations! The van was the perfect spot for my 12 year old and me to stay after a day of hiking. The van itself was super cool and had a very comfy full bed with clean sheets, 2 pillows and a blanket (we brought extra pillows and blankets which was a good idea). There were also two windows that could be rolled down and had screens in place, which was really nice since it was quite warm out. That made for totally comfortable sleeping. The spot was very private and the stars were amazing. We didn't end up swimming in the pond, but that is definitely an option. Ross was great, and met us on arrival to show us around a bit. Highly recommend a stay in the van!
This is the spot!!
The renovated van was great. Complete with a comfortable bed, mini dining spot and quirky touches. Inside there were string lights and a mini battery pack to charge your phone. Ross also provided pillows and blankets making the space extra cozy.
The land was picturesque. You have the option to drive around the pond and have your vehicle on site. That made unpacking a dream.
On the site you have a beautiful view of the lake and surrounded by woods. The premade fire pit and grill grate came in handy when we decided to chef it up. There was also a picnic table to play games, prep your meals, and enjoy the view.
This is a very healing and serene space, but don't be afraid to crank the tunes and have a belly laugh (within reason, of course). I couldn't be happier with this adventure. It made my 30th one for the books.
