Nice host, not so great campground
The host was nice but the bathrooms had no toilet paper (both days and both men’s and women’s bathrooms) there was a dance party and people playing music in the main tent area until 11pm, and it’s right on a main road so you can’t hear the babbling brook hardly at all. Like I said, pleasant host. But we will not go back. Dance party until 11pm? We were there for a relaxing night. I can see until 9pm but after that - lights out.
Wonderful little gem. We caught crayfish in the river, walked in the meadows and explored the woods. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.
Host was very helpful with my late arrival and a pleasure to work with. Able to select a great spot near river and she brought firewood to my campsite.
Ended up doing some apple picking during my stay, but wasn’t able to make it to the two lovely trails provided on site. Since highway speeds are low in Vermont barely any noise from nearby road.
Would absolutely stay again and really appreciated all the amenities provided (standard toilets and hot showers).

Happy camping!
Such a cute little campground! Perfect for dogs. Our tent campsite was right on the river so it was great to have my dog run around and swim in the water. The river isn’t very deep at all, only a few “deep” (maybe 4 feet max) spots. They have cute little trails on the campground as well which is awesome! The staff are all so welcoming and friendly as well. I will totally be coming back!

Our stay was brief but memorable! Our host greeted us upon our (late) arrival and was getting ready to start a campfire for us! She was warm and friendly and complimented my Oasis shirt. Will definitely be camping here again!
