Our cozy, private, rustic mountain yurt is a 30’ foot space located in an upper field tucked into a wooded hillside. Views facing east are great for watching the sunrise and a kitchen and outhouse mean you’ve got everything you need to get out of town for a few days.* The location provides a serene, intimate getaway for couples, artists or anyone looking for a bit of mindful downtime and introspection. The yurt is insulated and heated by a wood stove. It is equipped with a full-sized bed, couch, breakfast table with four chairs and night table. Linens included.

Surrounding fields are available for tent camping should you want to host a larger event and use the yurt for its kitchen and gathering space (the furniture can be removed). The yurt and its verdant surroundings are great for day-long wellness retreats, sound baths, yoga workshops, art classes and more.

Farm tours, floral workshops and personalized catered meals by Blossom Kitchen and Catering, the on-site vegetarian kitchen, are available upon request for delivery to the yurt with at least two days’ notice.

This is a perfect relaxation spot for bikers and hikers - Just beyond the yurt you can enjoy, or even help to improve newly constructed mountain biking trails Addison County Bike Club’s members have been working on. Rivers and lakes with swimming holes are an easy drive away, as is the charming mountain village of Bristol, with a fully stocked supermarket, two breweries, restaurants of all price ranges, shops and more. We are 30 minutes from the Burlington International Airport, and the closest Amtrak train station in Rutland is an hour drive.

It is best to arrive before sunset. Please do not arrive in the middle of the night.

* Solar shower available upon request

Such a perfect weekend getaway from the city!
The yurt was so special, cozy and situated in a perfect location.
Close to tons of walking, hiking and biking trails! We did tons of exploring in the woods. The little attached kitchen was key to having all the conveniences of being in civilization yet it seemed super far removed once back inside the yurt!

We loved the yurt! This property was the perfect way to enjoy fall foliage in Vermont as it's tucked away from distractions and overlooking the mountainside. The yurt had plenty of seating, places to sleep, natural light, games, books, etc while the wood burning stove kept us warm on 40 degree nights. The heated bed cover was a delight as well. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle any cooking and food storage needs while the composting toilet was also great to have on the property. Having the ability to park the car nearby was also advantageous.

This was a super cool place to stay. Jill is not kidding when she says try to arrive before sunset because it’s tough to find in the dark. But, it’s spacious, clean, and charming. There are views of Mt. Abraham and Ellen right outside. The kitchen is bright and clean. The outhouse is clean! And the wood stove kept us toasty. We took a nice walk on the mountain biking trails behind the yurt. It was a great time. Would definitely go back.

This yurt is awesome. Clean, and conveniently located near a cute Vermont town (Bristol) and it has everything you need for a cozy stay in a rustic setting. Did I mention that it is on a little hill so you get to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and starry nights with a bonfire?

New leaf organic farm is a beautiful property with amazing views & beautiful flowers. The yurt it was spacious and comfortable with lots of blankets & pillows. The kitchen made everything very convenient & we ate breakfast by the kitchen in the shade. Had sunset cocktails and dinner by campfire overlooking the farm & mountains. Jill was super nice & helpful.

The yurt was great! Everything we needed was there and the yurt was in a beautiful setting on the land. There were active wasps (or hornets?) on the field side of the yurt so we didn’t use the fire ring or that side to exit/enter. Keeping that side closed wasn’t a problem for us and the screen door did its job. The farm stand was fantastic and I wished I’d checked it out before our final night. We saw a few mountain bikers and heard some voices from the other yurt; overall the place felt a very serene and peaceful little slice of the farm. The winds in the morning coming through the yurt was so awesome. We want to come back for a winter version!

Lucky loved it too! There is a bunk bed!

I was so happy during my stay on Jill's farm. The yurt was situated on a perfect part of the property that gave me great views while also feeling private. The property has trails I could explore and that would be perfect for mountain bikers (I chatted with one friend of Jill's who had come for a ride).

Having the kitchen building was a real luxury and it was nice to not have to break out my stove to warm water or cook.

As a Vermonter, I'd never been to Bristol, and it was nice to explore a new town. The recommendations Jill left inside the kitchen were helpful. The town was quaint and fun for a nice meal outside and some window shopping.

I definitely will come back.
