Come pitch your tent on a remote hill top surrounded by amazing views and nearly two hundred acres of diverse forests and pasture lands. These tents sites are located on an historic hill farm settled in 1790. Still actively farmed as Fledgling Farmstead, our farm is home to cows, chickens, goats, fruit trees, and a veggie and herb CSA and farm store. We also host workshops and on-farm events.

There are trails for hiking and mountain biking (no dirt bikes or ATV's) all over the farm and a beautiful brook in a sheltered mountain valley. Just a 5 minute drive to the bottom of the hill is the first branch of White River; a beautiful clean river for swimming and fishing crossed by multiple covered bridges that lead to the farm. We hope you will come visit the farm and enjoy the remote mountainous beauty of Tunbridge!

This secluded mountain-top retreat is a fun adventure for people who want to get away from it all. Although we had a good deal of rain during our whole trip, we still managed to hike many of the trails and build a drizzly little campfire.

Evan was happy to provide us with some spicy Italian sausage and fresh butter to go with out dinner, and he even offered to drive us up the mountain to our campsite (the walk is about a quarter to a half mile). There are three very private sites, plus a communal area with a table and chairs. We loved site #2, but ended up setting up near the communal area since we were the only ones visiting that night. We found hundreds of wild strawberries, dodged raindrops, and made music. Perfect night.

My girlfriend and I camp a few times a year, basically whenever the weather allows for it, and this was our first using hipcamp. Evan and his beautiful campsites made this our best trip so far. He was a gracious host and wanted nothing more than to make sure we were happy with our stay. The site itself was beautiful beyond compare. The first morning we woke up there we were greeted by a picturesque landscape. I cannot recommend this site and this host highly enough. We will definitely be back.

Evan's sites are a real hidden gem. Plenty of space, gorgeous views, well maintained, and easy to access. The site felt very private and out of the way without being in the middle of nowhere. We were able to easily drive into town if needed but mostly explored the area and enjoyed the surroundings. I'd definitely like to go back and would highly recommend this spot to anybody. It was exactly the Vermont camping experience we were looking for!

Mountain Home Tent Site was beyond our expectations. Myself, my wife and our dog had a great time. Quiet, private and the scenery was amazing. We arrived late on Friday night and Evan gave us the tour of the property. We woke up Saturday morning to great weather and spent the rest of the weekend exploring the trails around the property and drove around the area. Definitely give Mountain Home Tent Sites a try, you won't regret it.

Our stay at Mountain Home was such a unique camping experience! Evan, our host, was extremely accommodating - we weren't able to make it out Friday night so we booked Saturday to Monday (Labor Day). Evan messaged Friday night and said we'd be welcome to come early Saturday if we were able. Thanks Evan!

When we arrived we parked at the farm and were greeted by his fiance and two of their dogs. Evan made sure we had everything we needed, got in his truck and led our vehicle up a steep winding path towards the peak of Curtis Hill. The path ended and opened up at the summit into a common / shared area that is able to be enjoyed by campers of all three sites.

If you look at some of the outstanding pictures of mountainous views for this listing, they are mostly taken from this common area. It has a big wooden platform - good for tenting, stargazing, or sunrise / sunset views. It also has a fire ring, arbor, and a number of planted flowers that give the space a one-of-a-kind special feel.

The campsites all branch off to the west of the common area - we booked site #2. You can drive your vehicle down a short path from the common area to get to each site. Ours was extremely spacious, much more than anything you'd get at a typical campground. The paths and camp areas were mowed perfectly, the ground wasn't too hard or soft - we had no issues pitching our tent. There were also two small trees in the middle area of the site that provided ample shade, and Evan had some firewood stacked for the included fire pit.

We explored the area the next day and found yet another great view of the valley from the summit. A short path led northeast from the back of the common area to power lines that cut through the valley and up the hill. Gorgeous view! There were a number of other paths that we explored, including a path with sugar maple tubing that led down to the base of the mountain.

We had a great time at Evan's Mountain Home, it was a rare treat to camp out at the summit of this hill / mountain and feel so completely secluded. We're already talking about coming back as soon as we're able, I'd highly recommend this listing!

Small path behind the common area leads to another great view, created by power lines that run up the hill from either side of the valley. There is a large wooden platform at the back of the common area. Perfect for a tent, or hanging out for stargazing, sunrise and sunset views.Firewood provided at each site, and plenty of extra kindling and firewood between your site and the common area if you need more.Site #2, from the back looking towards the mowed entrance. Trees for shade, lots of space, and a stack of firewood upon arrival.

Gorgeous views! We received a very warm welcome, and lots of yummy recommendations for spots to eat. Since there was snow- we had to hike up the road that brings you up to the campsite. The view and open space/quiet made it totally worth it. We are hoping to revisit in the warmer months!

Great campsite! The area is really pretty, with great views from the site. It was quiet, peaceful, and a ton of stars are visible at night. This site was perfect for what I was looking for, and I'd definitely come back again in the future.
