Mad river cabin-stay
Very special and unique cabin-stay, nestled on a hillside outside of cute Waitfield. Strong heater, too.. and some delectable butter (BYO-bread) and cream. Wish we could’ve stayed for days.. so much to explore in the area (and the most impressive fall foliage I’ve ever seen).
A quiet retreat
The Milkhouse is so COZY! My wife and I stopped here for some quick relaxation before a busy weekend. The location is more private than you might expect. The shower is amazing, and the ambiance is unbeatable. Marisa went above and beyond to recommend nearby trails for running. Would 100% recommend.
What better way to experience Vermont to the fullest than in this adorable cottage aka the milk house. Marisa was so kind and such a fantastic host, the space couldn’t have been cuter and oh my gosh the outdoor shower!! Best water pressure ever.
The views from the property are truly endless and what better way to top off such a unique stay than with fresh butter and fresh cream from their dairy cows for morning coffee. The bed was super cozy too! Overall this couldn’t have been a better experience and I highly recommend! We’ll certainly be back (:
Wow what a gorgeous property! The bed was very comfortable and warm during the cool autumn night. I enjoyed wandering around the farm, taking in the expansive view, gazing at the beautiful old barn, and hanging out with the cows in the morning. Lots of hiking and cute towns near by. If you want a perfectly quintessential warm comfortable and peaceful adorable Vermont farm experience this is your place.
