Enjoy a peaceful Vermont mountainside field with beautiful distant mountain views with amazing star gazing in the darkened sky away from city lights.

We are located on a minimally traveled no outlet wooded road. Pitch a tent near or next to your vehicle or park a small to medium sized camper and use it as a base camp while you explore Vermont. Such as a visit to our secret swimming hole located nearby...

We are centrally located to Bethel, Royalton, Queechee, Woodstock, Rutland, Killington, Waitsfield, Randolph, Barre and Montpelier.

Just up the road is the popular Silver Lake and State Park, great for kayaking or canoeing.

We are near to interesting activities, local farms, homemade food products and fabulous farm to table restaurants.

The nearby Barnard General Store and gas station has just about everything a camper could want. They offer prepared foods and many locally produced delights such as real maple syrup, ice cream, kombucha and there are always fresh baked goods.  Their meat case features, great sausages, thick pork chops, air chilled chicken, grass fed beef and they almost always have fresh salmon. They also carry a nice selection of wine, beer and ciders.

And a mile away in the opposite direction is the smaller Locust Creek General Store and gas station, they uniquely offer block ice, diesel fuel and kerosene.

We have generous amounts of firewood available onsite.

Please join us for a Birds Eye View of the beautiful state of Vermont, we hope to see you soon....David and Lisa

Beautiful property and great hosts. Our site was private and had fantastic views. We met David when we arrived and he directed us to our site along with providing firewood for sale.

David and Lisa have a beautiful property that was perfect for a fall weekend of camping! David met us when we arrived and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay. The property is close to a ton of hiking and mountain biking as well as great VT towns. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic site, great views, felt very private. Good sun all day long for our solar panels. Would definitely stay here again. Potable water available from laundromat in nearby South Royalton. Lots of hiking in the area.

Peaceful and quiet. The outhouse is beautifully built and the wood scavings truly are the key to no smell! Our host was amazing and easy to communicate with. He even offered to help if we got stuck. We will be back for sure!

Nice quiet and secluded campsite with spectacular views. Purchased wood which was very damp and not good quality which we were able to dry out after purchasing wood from in town.

we booked last minute and David was very reaponsive. We arrived in the dark and he met us and brought us to our site. he offered firewood and a fire ring, we declined as we were just going to call it a night. A short while later we regretted saying no, there were about 4 other campers in the field, not near, but visible, who were enjoying the wonderful starry night. We woke up in the a.m and we were amazed by the stunning view and thr lovely field. would definately go back!
