LOVED IT! Literally just what the doctor ordered. A nice quiet weekend with the sounds of the river and heat from a fire. The hosts were out of this world fabulous and even went so far as to bake us chocolate croissants and fresh pressed espresso after our night below freezing in our tent. And when I mentioned needing a hat for the rest of the trip, he literally tried to give me the hat off of his head! I loved the spot and how isolated yet close to everything we were. Would absolutely stay here again
Soothing streamside site
Julia was a great host and this campsite was more than well prepped for all we needed. We did not expect the beauty of the stream and the ample primitive camping supplies — I highly recommend this site.
Peaceful, private, convenient gem
Julia and Jeff were wonderful hosts. Julia was very helpful with directions. We were greeted shortly after arrival. The site was very private. It was easy to find a flat spot for our teardrop camper. We fell asleep listening to the babble of the brook. Julia and Jeff gave us excellent recommendations for hiking and biking adventures. We would like to return.
Great site, great host!
Great little spot, host had a port-a-loo with a privacy pop up, trash can, fire pit, fire wood (no need to bring!), and fire pit along with picnic table.
The site is right next to a little stream which you can hear from the entire site.
Julia came down from the main house to say hello and offered to provide anything else we needed - very friendly!
Noteworthy, this site is set away from the main house but you can see the house. Didn't bother us at all!
