My husband, two dogs, and I loved our stay at Site 3 on Peter’s land. Upon arrival there was a stand up 6 person tent, rain fly, fire pit, table, and many options for seating already set up. The stream was a short walk from the camp site and there are deeper areas if you explore a little further. The other two sites were far away enough that you could not hear or see them. We will definitely be back!

We tent camped at this site with 2 dogs and had a great time! The meadow and mountains were beautiful and the stream was very refreshing - the dogs loved it.

Sites were very far apart/private, bathroom was clean, sites were flat and we had everything we needed (grill, picnic table, tables, chair, fire pit).

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The area was beautiful and plenty of space between the three sites.
What I did not like about it was the lack of response when asking about the prepaid stack of wood that we never received (and still paid for). The directions were also very difficult to follow from the north (directions on hipcamp only show to get there from south) and when texting the owner I also never received a response to an address. Lack of good communication is the only thing preventing us from coming back.

Directions could have been better, but one phone call and Peter helped navigate us to the right place. You’re staying in an open field near a stream and a road. You can hear and see cars, but it’s not too distracting. The other two sites are far enough away that you don’t see or hear anyone unless they are arriving/leaving. I appreciated the nice lounge chair, picnic table, grill, and fire pit provided. There is a porta-potty available and it was super clean and convenient, so it made my first time tent camping a little less rustic.

Peter’s land is perfect! I plan on coming back, it’s quiet and spaced out. The stream was fun and refreshing! The views at night amazing to top of the views during the day!! Not too far from many of whatever VT has to offer.

The views from Peter’s property were incredible during the day but the sky at night was unreal! We stayed at campsite 2 and had plenty of space/privacy. Our puppy loved being able to roam around off-leash and play in the river. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience!
