Site 2 - VT Farm on Trout Stream
Pete's land was well maintained with easy access to the stream from Site #2. There were two other campers there, however we couldn't hear or see them. Plenty of privacy. View of the stars from the field was incredible!

Loved it!
We loved camping on Pete's land. We were able to meet him and he is a great guy. We were far from other campers and enjoyed our privacy. Our dogs roamed off leash and loved to explore the river. There were no bugs this time of year (end of April) and the ground was dry aside from some morning frost. We will be back, and will bring friends! 10/10.

Lovely One Night Trip
Lovely low key farm/field campsite. A great spot to stay for anyone in this area. Loved waking up next to the babbling brook. My one complaint that to no fault of the host Peter is that the site we booked (site 3) was somewhat washed out and covered in sand from the flooding last winter. We ended up setting up camp slightly to the right of where the campsite originally was located, just so we were in some grass instead of sand. Other than that everything was great! I’d recommend sites 1 & 2 for sites with less sand! We will be back if need be in this area!

Ski chalet!
Peters place was great! Nice open site and set back far from the road. Easy drive over to Okemo for skiing. Just be mindful the field road in gets muddy during this season so 4wd is a must. Would definitely stay again.

Pros and Cons!
pros: this place was beautiful, and surrounded by mountains. I had good cell service too which was a bonus! it was snowed in so i couldn’t tell much on how the property is managed. road noise wasn’t too bad, and the river was breathtaking and crystal clear!! cons: I booked in advance, so the host knew ahead of time, but sadly the $20 worth of wood I added for my trip never came, and the lack of communication was horrible. I asked for a refund on the wood and i’ve been ignored. I want to come back here in the warmer months but will be iffy about it based off the host experience. this place isn’t cheap for a place to camp for a night, and I don’t look for things to be perfect, but I felt a lack of respect.

Nice little spot. No frills and no fuss. Just rode in, enjoyed the picnic table and open space and rolled out the next morning. The open field and gurgling stream created a perfect spot for a mid-fall overnighter.
