There is a huge pond up the road from us, about a half hour drive.
Beautiful pond one mile away, brook right near yurt for wading or for kids.

Tricky to communicate because no cell service, but once I got to yurt everything was wonderful. Good space for yoga, comfortable bed, convenient bathroom. Once I got in, it was nice to disconnect. Drive there was gorgeous. Wish I had more time explore.
Farm yurt dream!
I cannot recommend this place enough! The yurt and the setting were indescribably magical and everyone was sooooo kind. Will definitely come back and recommend to anyone thinking about staying!!! One of the best getaways I’ve ever had!
A magical night in vermont
J + B have created a magical space and I’m so grateful to have had the experience of staying at Trollhaugen Farm. Make sure to pack a blanket so you can lay it down in the open area and look up at the stars. Order the crepes! They were delicious. Thank you so much! 💚
The stay was very comfortable, the yurts amenities and all were well thought out. Experienced a little communication lapse in the beginning. Overall avery rewarding experience.
I loved it
Amazing, perfect amount of technology to still feel rejuvenated but to not struggle as hard as actual camping. The actual location in Vermont is beautiful and a lot to do. We went to Hamilton falls whihc is like 20 min out, there are many thrift stores too. Make sure to visit the dam diner and the provisions market in Jamaica. Highly recommend
Dreaming of crepes…
I had a short but lovely stay. I was spellbound…what a magical place built with such tlc. The only bummer was that my stay was too short. ORDER THE CREPES…I still dream of them.
Unplug and unwind
We had a lovely time at the yurt. It was very comfortable for 2 adults and a 2 year old. The space is quaint and cute. Loved having a small kitchen with a working sink and a composting toilet that was not stinky at all and very easy to maintain. Even though there is no electricity there are 2 bedside lamps that are run off a small battery that make nighttime chilling very cozy. We enjoyed wandering the grounds and seeing all the animals. Johanna and her husband were very friendly and communicative. Would love to visit again!
Staying in a yurt was a new experience! If you want to do try this, do a bit of research beforehand. Johanna did a really nice job providing information about the yurt and surrounding area while we were there. Upon arrival she welcomed us into her home and briefly told us about the yurt basics. During our stay we explore the beautiful area on and around the yurt.
Can’t wait to return!
Trollhaugen Farm was the perfect weekend escape. I was only able to stay for a night, but would have loved more time. I got the best night’s sleep in months, thanks to the babbling brook and thoughtful lavender sachets that Johanna left under our pillows.
Johanna goes above and beyond in many ways. She left detailed and thoughtful information about things around town, including where to eat, hike, buy groceries, ect.
The yurt is very spacious and and has everything you could need. It’s clear quite a bit of thought went into creating the space, and it paid off! Cozy to the extreme!
We adored our time and can’t wait to go back!
