Our stay at the Farm Animal Sanctuary was wonderful! It was very nice to meet Erika and we loved learning about the sanctuary and meeting many of the animals + learning their stories. What an amazing place! And the maple lattes are as delicious as everyone before me has mentioned.
Amazing experience, the hosts are very sweet and accommodating. We had access to the farm animals all hours of the day, we were served lattes in the morning and the farm itself was beautiful. Highly recommend
Truly magical and memorable experience! Cannot wait to book again. The property is beautiful and the hosts are so kind and accommodating. The perfect place to go to escape the loudness of a city.
Beautiful revitalizing experience !
Camping at Kinder Way Farm Animal Sanctuary was a treasure ! Located in the rolling hills of Benson Vermont it is not only beautiful ,but also run by a beautiful family ! The property has so much space that you can't hear anyone around you . They have an A frame accomadation ,and if you have a larger party there is plenty of space to pitch multiple tents besides it, and two other camp sites , camp site # 2 , and camp site #3 . My Wife , and I along with our 20 y/o Son , 18 y/o Daughter,19y/o Nephew and 9 y/o Dog camped out at site #3 for 2 Nights .OMG what a glorious view ! 360 degree views Facing the Adirondacks to the west and the Green Mountains to the east , this is a perfect spot to see the sun set and literally 20 steps away from a great vantage point to see the sun rise .From our site you can gaze across the property ,and see horses along with two bulls " Rock and Roll " grazing in the distance .This is a true Farm Sanctuary where you can see that the animals are happy ,and well taken care of ! Mark and Erika have such warm ,and accomadating souls , it permeates through the entire property ! Very laid back atmosphere which will definitely revitalize you ! We highly recommend taking the " fARM tour" with Mark ,and Erika when you get there, each animal has a name and a unique story! Even our 9 y/o Dog Lola (Black Lab/ some kind of terrier ) mix did not pull our arm off trying to chase the ducks which she always does ! We went to a nearby lake ( Sunset Lake ) which Mark recommended which was beautiful ,and very little boat traffic. We also went to Lake Bomoseen which is a larger lake ,and more activity , but still Kayakable. If you have just one place to visit in the surrounding area visit the Taconic State Park Ramble there is a Zen Garden there as well as numerous hiking trails of varying difficulty . As stated in previous reviews Indeed Mark does make a delicious Pumpkin Latte ! The Kinder Way Farm Animal Sanctuary was a great place to camp , and spend quality time with the Family we highly recommend it , and Mark , Erika and their Family are great hosts who show true Love / Compassion for any who cross their paths ! Thank You Mark and Erika !
From the moment when we arrived, Mark and Erika made us feel like family. Mark gave a fun and informational tour of the farm, and showed us how much compassion and care they give to every animal they look after. He helped bring our things up to our site located at the top of the hill overlooking the neighboring cow pasture. Expect to be stunned at the view of the stars, as well as the sunrise in the morning. Mark makes an incredible maple latte in his cafe located on the property. Mark and his family promise that at the end of your stay you will leave a more compassionate person, and they followed through with that promise. Overall an amazing experience that we cannot recommend enough.
Even though we only stayed for one night, we had such an incredible stay at Kinder Way Farm Sanctuary. The farm is beautiful, the owners are wonderful, kind, warm hosts, and the animals and their stories will melt your heart. This place is a true gem and we're so glad we chose to stay here. Also, be sure to have one of their maple lattes! so good!!
