We’ve moved to a beautiful new location in the Mettowee Valley of Vermont, with 125 acres of fields and forest, 7 acres of u-pick blueberries, a spring fed pond, the Mettowee River for swimming, and of course our many rescued farm animals who love attention ❤️. Only min from Granville, NY, the colored slate capital of the world, 30 min from Manchester, and 20 min from Dorset. When you book with us, you help us care for our rescued farm animals, and continue our mission to rescue and offer sanctuary to more animals in need. Beautiful Yurt Stay
Wonderful stay at the yurt. Erika was so helpful and her and her husband were amazing hosts! The property is perfect, private and a short walk to visit the animals. We came with our kids for a 2 night stay for the eclipse. We’ll be back (sans kids 😆) so we can enjoy the yurt even more!

Definitely coming back again!
The weather wasn't optimal but the place was still beautiful regardless! Erika and Mark are clearly so passionate about what they do and the tour really showed that. We'd love to come back in the summer when it's not muddy!

Very nice hosts and tried to help us make the best of the bad weather. On the tour they explained what they’re gonna do and the story behind the sanctuary. Yurt was very homey and comfortable. We were able to hear the animals in the morning outside the yurt, adding to the peaceful environment. Hope to make it out there again in the summer!

The yurt was amazing and felt like a little sanctuary! Erika is a phenomenal host and even greater person with all she does for her animals! We loved the animals so much — the horses were the sweetest!!

The land was so gorgeous and Erika was so kind! We loved meeting the animals, swimming in the creek, and hiking nearby. 10/10 would recommend

Our weekend in the Yurt was perfect! It was a very private setting, with the fire pit and pond just steps away from each other. Plenty of near by towns and areas to visit, we will definitely be returning!
