We had an amazing stay at the West Hills Hideaway!! The camper easily accommodated our family of 4 (2 kids 2 adults) and was just perfect for our needs.
The location was close enough to town yet far enough to away give us a rested family vacation that we were looking for.
Deb was attentive to our inquiries and questions; always following up quickly in only a few minutes.
The kids really enjoyed the outhouse bathroom and the outdoor shower.
We would love to return someday! Thanks Deb!
Don’t forget to try some of Deb’s farm fresh eggs!
West Hills Hideaway was a fantastic woodland escape. The location was remote but accessible with plenty of space for tents and activities. Deb put a lot of time and care to make sure the camp was stocked with all the basic essentials. Including an outhouse, pots and pans, utensils, bugspray, wood, etc. She even stocked the freezer with ice for us.
Just down the road we were able to find some fresh cool water to spend the hot day in all within 10 minutes of the camp.
I'd definitely recommend West Hills Hideaway and hope to return one day. Thanks for an awesome experience!
Last minute gem
I booked this in a hurry, thinking it was a tent site. Boy was I wrong! It was an actual camper which was the perfect shelter for the tropical rains that came in mid-August. Deb was beyond helpful, offering a full gallon of water and some food (in a basket!! - can't ensure this will be for every booking). Deb made sure that everything was taken care of. The route to this location is on a dirt road, so pay attention to directions to make sure you don't get lost (especially after dark). I'm so grateful for this experience, and will be asking Deb again for this wonderful little spot!
Fantastic spot! Just perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Even our kids were more than happy to just unplug and be. Our oldest set up camp in the hammock while our youngest loved helping his dad with a fire. Our stay was short, but we have high hopes on returning.
Convenient camping in the woods
We enjoyed our stay at West Hills Hideaway! It was clear Deb put a lot of thought into the space and was very convenient to have access to firewood, water, gas stove, fridge, freezer, shower, outhouse, fire pit with grate all on-site.
Slice of heaven
I hate to give away our favorite hipcamp spots but this one is really nice
Talk about secluded and yet safe
The area is super nice too
Theres a large cascading river fall right down the street anout a mile and a half that locals frequent to cool off
Crystal clear cool clean mountain water.. my dog couldn't drink enough of it and i felt like a kid again....just beautiful!!
The best thing is that you dont have to bring much...theres a working fridge/freezer and stove/ oven in the camper..no ice trips to worry about
We did bring a grill with us to cook outside
There plenty of dry stacked wood on site
Deb has thought this out well...
We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return!!
