Pitch your tent nestled along the edge of lush green forestry, surrounded in nature!  Gorgeous views and the smell of the fresh Vermont air will amaze you.  Start your day making coffee on the fire, sitting listening to the birds and watching the deer nibbling the grass.

Relax on our family's off grid homestead acres, containing trails through our woods for hiking, cross country ski and more.

During July and August the wild berries make a wonderful treat. Try your culinary skills over the campfire while the children play and explore nature. As night falls, a campfire with smores hosts a wonderful end to the days fun.  After, tuck the children in and listen to the night sounds under the stars!

Looking for more fun, only ten minutes to restaurants, shops, zip line and bike trails.   Swim, kayak, or fish in The Lamoille or Brewster Rivers.  The ski resorts and resort villages offer loads of summer fun indoors and outdoors!  Also, less than thirty minutes from the Canadian border!  Your site is only 1/4 mile from "The Rail Trail" used year round as recreational fun and part of the VAST system for snow mobiles.  Or bring your ATV to enjoy off road trails nearby.

Each site is provided a bundle of firewood for cooking and warmth (more available for an up charge).  Also, 5 gallons of clean well water (more available for an up charge) .  There is a portable toilet available for use.  A shower with water can also be available for an up charge.

Get back to basics and enjoy all that nature has to offer at Black Creek's Tent Haven!

Amazing! Dianne goes above and beyond. The open field has amazing views from every site. I absolutely recommend getting the pancake breakfast—it was so delicious AND delivered to our site. The compost toilet is very clean. There is also an outdoor shower available. The stars can be seen wonderfully. Great communication. Can’t wait to stay again, maybe even at the cabin next time!

Dianne has beautiful property that is very close to Smugglers Notch! On arrival she greeted us and showed us the compost toilet and took us to our camp site for the few days. Dianne communicated very well and was helpful on giving suggestions on things to do in the area. We choose site 6 which was up on the other side of the hill on her property. It was seclusive and away from the other two couples that were staying there. The views of the mountains were great as well! The stars at night while sitting by the camp fire were outstanding!! I’m sure we will be visiting Vermont again in the future and we will for sure book with Dianne again!

The land was amazing! Each of the sites is pretty well separated from the others and ours (site 8) was tucked away behind a few trees to add additional privacy!

Dianne was great, very responsive, and the breakfast (we ordered blueberry pancakes) was lovely.

Really great spot to camp, close to Stowe and all the great hiking in the area. Open field on a hill and, while I didn't have time to explore, there are trails on the land. The host family are wonderful people, happy to help where they can. The blueberry pancakes and eggs delivered to me in the AM was a nice touch. Highly recommend and would stay there again in a heartbeat

Dianne was very friendly and welcoming. There was no one else staying at any of the other sites at the time of our camping and they gave us the option of setting up at any location we wanted. The location was beautiful and has a full view of the sky.

We had a wonderful stay at Black Creek's Tent Haven. Dianne was the perfect host and we ended up extending our stay to a second night because we loved the spot. Dianne greeted us when we arrived and it was very easy to coordinate with her during the stay. On the first night, we stayed in the cabin and it was a fun experience, complete with a loft bed, porch, and firepit with wood and kindling provided. The next morning we booked the breakfast add-on and were treated to a little picnic of blueberry pancakes and farm-fresh eggs. The second night we camped in a tent we pitched a site over and again had a great experience. The sky was more clear that night too so we were able to gaze at the stars. We hope to come back on our next visit to VT and highly recommend this place to other campers!

Black Creek Tent Haven is situated on a stunningly beautiful and peaceful hill, surrounded by every shade of green imaginable! The hillside is dotted with campsites but on our weekend we were the only ones there. Included are all the amenities you need for an off-the-grid experience (bathroom, water, fire ring and firewood). Our kids loved running up and down the hill, exploring the trail to the maple tree grove, and watching the fireflies at night. Diane is a fantastic host! She was very gracious with our arrival time, which kept getting delayed and personally met us to show us around the camp site. Overall, we had a great time and didn’t want to leave!

Very nice host and site. She set out a chair for me and plenty of firewood. She also provided water which are all things that I didn't expect.
