We had a wonderful time staying at Jen and Shaila's place. The hosts were warm and welcoming. The farm is beautiful with an awesome barn with great amenities. We'd love to stay here again!
I’m SPEECHLESS after our stay at Zion on The 9. I’ve never experienced anything like this place. Beautiful views, short drive from Zion, comfortable tent, clean bathrooms, and the BEST hosts!! We enjoyed everything it had to offer from the unique boozy barn to the hot tub after a long day of hiking. We can’t wait to come back already!!

Our stay was delightful, as were Shaila and Jen as hosts! We grilled dinner on the bbq, hung out in the barn, pet the horses, and enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was a treat before heading to the park in the morning. As soon as we arrived we were scheming to come back.

What a beautifully tranquil and unique property. I needed a place to decompress and acclimate for a few days before heading into Zion Nation Park (about a 20 min drive) and Zion on the 9 did not disappoint. Shaila & Jen were both wonderful people and responded to any inquiry I had before, and during my stay efficiently and with big smiles. They also had good restaurant recommendation while I was there and provided a delicious breakfast with coffee at either my tent or in the social barn. The social barn was cleverly designed and was equipped with mini fridges and cupboards for dry food storage for each tent. The ducks were a lot of fun to have around and were funny to watch waddling their way around the property. I also enjoyed winding down by the bonfire at night before bed. All in all this place was fabulous and I would highly recommend staying here if you need a place to enjoy with all that nature has to offer. Tranquil, quiet star-studded nights and listening to the wind blowing through the leaves of trees surrounding the property during the day. Situated between Hurricane & Springdale, you’re secluded (which I liked) but not far from civilization. Thank You Shaila & Jen for your amazing hospitality and sharing your beautiful space with me. I’ll be back!
Our stay at Zion on the Green was the best part of our trip to Zion, hands down! I've never experienced hospitality like we did with Shaila as our host. Shaila greeted us upon arrival, provided lots of great recommendations for how to try to navigate an extremely crowded Zion NP, and even surprised us with poolside margaritas. The property is beautiful and quiet, and we ended up spending much more time at the campground than we planned. Our stay was truly a unique experience, and I can't thank Shaila (or recommend this hipcamp) enough!

Great place to stay! Beautiful, clean, lots of amenities and close to the park.
Our stay at Zion on the Green was the highlight of our trip. The grounds were well maintained and the horses and ducks were our best friends. Our hosts made our stay so much fun and so memorable. We stayed in the bell tent so we had to bring our own bedding, which was fine. There was a power strip in the tent so we could charge everything. It was 105 degrees while we were there so the tent got warm but we survived just fine. We were provided fans and that helped alot. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone it is wonderful! I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay.
Absolutely amazing! The barn, tents, and location are beautiful. Ken was so accommodating and fun! Will definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to travel to the area. A great balance of relaxation and comfort while hiking in Zion.
Zion on the Green was the perfect find for our weekend getaway to Zion and Bryce! Shaila, Scott and Ken have created such a unique home away from home stay on their property just south of Zion. On top of super clean accommodations in tents on the grass, you will love the overall experience during your stay! You will be greeted with open arms and given a tour of the property which includes a large grass area for activities, a pool, jacuzzi, communal bathroom with 2 indoor showers and 1 outdoor shower, kitchen and dining space, and a bar with a game room. The tents are spaced out to allow for privacy and the communal amenities on the property are very charming. Every morning, breakfast is delivered to your tent at any time you choose, which was even accompanied with a gentle wake up song on a ukulele! The farm animals who occasionally roam on the property are also very friendly. You are welcome to cook on site and also make a fire at night for s’mores (roasting sticks were even provided).
We stayed two nights in the Bell Tent. It’s a HUGE canvas tent that zips up on a large deck - it could easily sleep four people. You are responsible for bringing a camping pad or mattress and sleeping bags. You can also use the other connecting platform for a tent or sleep under the stars if you need extra space. There is a charging port for electronics which was super convenient. We rose early to beat the crowds at Zion and Shaila greeted us at 4:30 with a delicious light breakfast (we had a bomb egg tortilla wrap), juice and coffee. If your going to the national park, I highly recommend an early morning hike, followed by a relaxing afternoon at the property. If you’re looking to relax, a full day of fun at Zion on the Green is quite peaceful! Enjoy this amazing find!
Lastly, our hosts were very helpful and available for any questions we had before and during our trip.
