This is definitely one of the most private sites at the location as some of the others seem a little close together . Beautiful views and a great deck that the tent sits on top of. Extremely spacious and the perfect place for a small family and pets . I will say to make sure you have a high clearance vehicle when you are coming here. This specific site is at the very tip top of the location and you have to drive up a very rugged dirt road to make it. We were in a rav4 and still had a bit of a struggle getting up it. We also had to cut our trip short ,very short , because there was a Yellowjacket nest right next to the campfire. At first it wasn’t a big deal because there were just a couple but when we started the fire for dinner the smoke went directly towards the nest (about 20 feet to the right of the cooktop) as well as putting food out they started to come out of the woodwork. The buzzing from the nest was also almost deafening because it was so close. There’s no service up there on the mountain with no one attending to the site so that is something to note, it’s very apparent you are on private property. Brad was very understanding and accommodating to the Yellowjacket situation so I would just check to see if it’s been handled before booking. We didn’t want to risk getting stung as I am pregnant and have a small dog that could be very hurt if stung so that is why we departed . But other than that this is a beautiful location that we will definitely be back to once the nest is taken care of!

The site is beautiful, the tent was very spacious and clean and the cots were really comfortable! The view was awesome and it was very private!
We did have a couple of issue though. The road going up to the campsite is pretty rough. I have a Kia Soul and we made it up but I was sketchy and barely made it. I would recommend a bigger car or truck for this site.
Also there is a gate to get into the site that is locked with a code. One night when we arrived back from a long day the lock was stuck. We had to drive back down the mountain to get service and Brad basically just told us we were on our own to figure it out. We ended up having to lift the extremely heavy metal gate off of its hinges to get in. (And also so everyone wasn’t locked in in the morning or in case of an emergency). It took us about an hour to deal with this issue and it was dark by the time we got back to our campsite to make dinner.
Overall the tent and the site itself were awesome! With a bigger truck and some tools you’ll be good to go! Just be prepared for no cell service and no one on site to help with issues.
This place was amazing, the view and the stars are absolutely incredible. Also only about an hour drive outside of the park! The only thing I would note is that it is an extremely uneven/sandy terrain up to the campsite so if you have a low riding vehicle this might not be the place for you. Our truck with 4WD was rocking and rolling but we were able to make it up with no problems. I would highly recommend.
This spot was absolutely incredible! Very private and the view was amazing! We loved our stay, super easy to book and find. The porch and fire pit at the location were so great! Thank you Brad! We will definitely be back 👍🏼

The campsite was an amazing experience, we arrived late Friday night and were amazed at the amount of stars in the sky. Coming from Vegas it was a sight very different from city living. The tent was clean and was on the edge of a very being backdrop. The host Brad is very easy to contact and happy to answer any questions you may have. We have already booked another weekend to stay again and would recommend to anyone for a great weekend or weekday getaway.

We had a wonderful time at this little spot. The cots were comfortable and the canvas was great. It was spacious for 2 + our baby. We had rain 1 day and stayed dry no problem. The scenery was beautiful and you feel secluded from the rest of the world out there.
Amazingly beautiful location. Really fantastic hike up Water Canyon, trailhead is very close. No water at site but the town has a nice park a mile or so from the camp site that has free high volume fresh spring water taps - very, very good water.
As should be expected, hot days by late June with cool nights and some of the most amazing star views around!
Would absolutely recommend staying here for a great secluded getaway! If you’re looking for the basics for an awesome glamping experience, the setup that Brad has is awesome. It’s very close to a lot of great hikes. And even though there are other campsites near by, it feels like you’re the only ones out there.
