Description

Now this is the place for those of us who take the term “getaway” to the extreme and are really looking for an escape into the woods. Cottonwood Campground is nine miles out of Grantsville, Utah and down a gravel road through the South Willow Canyon, so prepare yourself for a scavenger hunt in order to find the tiny destination. Chances are you won’t be bothered by many tent neighbors out here. With only three campsites available, you may well find yourself alone in the vastness of the canyon, accompanied only by the imposing Stansbury Mountains and thickets of cottonwood and juniper trees.
