Tentsile - The Tree-House Tent

SITE SPECIFIC: You may have seen this on Pinterest & other places & always wanted to try it out, this is your opportunity to do so without making the expensive purchase yourself. The tentsile is a very cool experience to be had!! It is spacious & allows for 2 adults possibly 3 comfortably if small enough. It will give you a unique, exciting experience & a more comfortable nights sleep up off the hard ground. This site is not for everyone, it still flexes and may not be good for those with back issues. The site is set up to be cozy, romantic & very private with led solar string lighting & a lit pathway. PREPARE FOR THE WEATHER: Please do your own research for the expected temperatures here and bring proper gear. This tent gets cold at night in the spring and fall. Bring extra blankets or sleeping bags, if you get here and it's cooler than expected please ask and we would be happy to loan you blankets or rent out or warmer sleeping bags. BATHHOUSE : There is a Bathhouse with Showers and Flush Toilets. Showers are with a Token and must be purchased during store hours. The bathhouse is about one minute of a walk away & is shared with other campers and gets dirty. We are surrounded by red dirt. Toilets get clogged, it happens in any public bathroom. It is cleaned everyday. The bathhouse is under renovation.

Needles was awesome and Amber was super friendly and open to suggest activities. The site was beautiful and the stars were great at night!
Absolutely wonderful experience all the way around! Was clean, private, friendly, really quiet, absolutely beautiful sunrises and sunsets! So much to do and see with the outdoors and a night sky that is unbelievable!! Will definitely be back sometime 🙂
Our night in the tree-tent was even better than we expected. The actual location of the camp is very special and just lovely. Its remote, but sits right at the foot of a canyon that we climbed up to watch the sun go down and then again to watch the sun rise. The tree tent is the most secluded and quiet, as it sits in the back, around the corner From the main camp. The only drawback to that is that it is also farthest from the bathhouse. A small price to pay for extreme quiet, peace and seclusion.
At the tent site, there is a picnic table and a fire pit(no chairs around pit). Simple, but we felt as if we had everything we needed. After climbing the rocks at our camp and eating dinner, we went right up in the tree tent and watched the stars through the mesh tent roof and fell asleep to the absolute quiet. A very special Night for sure. I would just tell you to be prepared with a warm sleeping bag and maybe even an extra blanket, as it gets cold at night and the mesh tent-roof lets the cold air in.
As for the facilities at the camp, the store is great and has everything you need and the bath house was very clean. What more could you ask for??
Bit cold - bring blankets, sleeping bags, etc. View was incredible. Privacy was great. Rocks were a fun addition to an already unique experience.
Amber is a really great host. She was very welcoming, friendly and you can tell she really puts her all into this campsite. The location was secluded and removed from the main campsite. The tent itself was a very unique experience! It was comfortable and I would definitely recommend it to those looking for a bit of a different experience. Having a proper shower was great and all the facilities on site are nice. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
What a WONDERFUL place! Not only did Amber respond VERY quickly to my many messages/questions, when we arrived it immediately felt like we were visiting old friends!! She and her husband have done an AMAZING job making sure ALL their guests have the best camping experience. We ended up staying in a large. round tent as the treetop site needed a minor repair. But boy are we glad we did! The interior was absolutely charming, with a few extra special details, intended to make their guests feel better. She insisted on giving us extra pillows and blankets to make sure we were comfortable if the night got too chilly. As the evening progressed, we encountered Amber and her husband a couple of times, each of which we enjoyed lively and genuine-interest conversations. Yep! It felt like we were just catching up with some old friends!
The grill was clean and ready for our steaks! As the sunset, our site was illuminated with solar lights that helped us find out way. The bathroom/shower was convenient and super clean!
And the sunset/sunrise and the dark skies filled with more stars than we city-folk are used to DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!
We hail from Dallas, Texas and even though this is a long drive, we WILL be back some day.....VERY SOON I hope!
This place was amazing! We went on a week long road trip through Utah hitting up a different spot each night. This was by far and away the most memorable of our stays that week. The Tentsile tent is super cool, and comfortable (side sleepers may find it a little uncomfortable because you tend to roll into the middle). But the site is very secluded and butts up to a beautiful mountain range that is available to you for watching the sunset or just exploring. We hiked different parts of it three times during our one night stay. The hosts offered us a pot and silverware to use during our stay since we were unable to bring our own. They were very hospitable and friendly. The type that you really wanna have a beer with. We got to watch the sunset and the moonrise, the moonrise being super magical because you don't expect it, at least we didn't. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend here.
