Welcome to Red River Camp! Our camp sites highlight the beautiful red cliff backdrop infamous in southern Utah. Only 10 minutes from Capitol Reef National Park! Come relax and stay the night before you go out to hike, sight see, climb, off-road, fish etc. The opportunity for adventure is endless. Our family built the Red River Ranch many years ago and we are excited to share the beautiful surroundings with people that share our love for the outdoors. Guests will have a private camp site and access to their own fire pit, shared picnic table, shared trash, and shared toilet. No access to water, electricity, or sewer. Cell phone service should work great!

Red Cliff Camp #6 - RV Parking OK
The views at Red Cliff Camp were amazing! The directions were very straight forward and made parking our trailer a breeze. I would recommend this stay!

Red Cliff Camp #3
Best camp you can get!
INCREDIBLE location! Absolutely the prettiest camp site I've ever stayed at. It's close to Capital Reef & gas/food which makes it very convenient. The site is well maintained with a porta-john that was very clean (looked to be recently dumped out too which was nice. Absolutely no smell!) I stayed at site 3 and loved it! There was a fire pit that I didn't use & some tree stumps to sit on (or use as a table). The night sky was also so incredible & I was able to get some stunning photos of the stars :) I'd absolutely come back next time I come to Capital Reef! I have no cons to note!

Red Cliff Camp #2
This site is beautiful! I reached out to Guy pretty last minute to see if we could check in later that night. He was super accommodating and made sure the site was available for our late check in. The site itself was a decent size and the red rocks that surrounded us were so cool to wake up to. Simple site, but that’s all we needed. 100% would recommend.

Red Cliff Camp #6 - RV Parking OK
Solitude and Night Skies
This was a brief overnight stop for us but it was all we needed. Port-a-potty was convenient and clean. Spaces were big. We were there just before the height of the season in March and it was just us, one tent camper, and one car camper so we had a lot of solitude which we like. Very peaceful and beautiful night sky.

Red Cliff Camp #1
Great, but windy!
Pros: large camp sites, very quiet, stunning scenery, easy to find, clean porta potty. Cons: no privacy between sites (not a problem for us since nobody else was there when we were) and only one picnic table that sits by the porta potty. It was also incredibly windy the whole four days we were there, and very cold, which made camp life pretty difficult. Everything was covered in red dirt! Not the hosts fault, but future guests should be aware that’s a possibility in that area. Overall, we enjoyed our time! The scenery was beautiful and with the exception of the wind it was very peaceful. We loved visiting Capitol Reef NP each day we were there. Thanks to the hosts for providing a nice campsite!

Red Cliff Camp #1
Amazing primitive site.
Very remote, primitive camp site. Beautiful cliff as backdrop. Bathroom (port a potty) was very clean and appreciated. Down side, our night was extremely windy. I don’t know if that is normal, but be prepared.
