We have 2 Yurts secluded on 12 acres of land located on a Mesa in Southeast Utah. Each yurt is completely separate on it's own 6 acres with it's own parking, pit toilets and shower houses. The Yurt is primitive, yet extremely comfortable and equipped with everything you need to feel at home. It is my own personal vacation property that I have put a lot of passion and work into over the years, and I have intentionally kept it simple, with limited solar for basic electricity, no running water (but water is available on site through a water tank), and thankfully no Wi-Fi. I am an avid rock climber, mountain biker and overall outdoor enthusiast, and this location is the perfect basecamp for other like-minded individuals planning their next adventure in this part of Utah. This yurt we've named Pinyon Pine, as it is nestled in a small pinyon forest. Most of the property is prairie and sagebrush with views of the LaSals in Moab, Abajos in Monticello, and even the mountain ranges of Telluride and Durango in the far distance. Expect to see golden eagles, coyote, wild turkeys, elk, and other high desert animals. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Juniper Yurt Escape

Cute yurt in an absolutely amazing location! Great "glamping" experience, with a wood stove to stay warm, stove for food, and enough solar power to keep the lights going. It's surrounded by wide open land with some forest and mountain views. The big bed is comfortable and a great change of pace after tent camping!

Juniper Yurt Escape

Fun and secluded place

We really thought the Juniper Yurt was cool. The stars at night were insane! Great stay that is midway between 'roughing it' and a fancy glamping cabin. The drive to get to the site was actually really neat, too -- just off the beaten path (with some dusty roads), but easy enough to locate.

Juniper Yurt Escape

My young adult sons, my friend, and I all really really enjoyed staying in this yurt! The campfire and the night sky was absolutely amazing! One tip that we missed is to definitely bring water. I absolutely recommend this place!

Pinyon Pine Yurt Escape

My husband and I enjoyed staying in the yurt. It was decorated really cute and had many unexpected amenities. My husband was even able to run his CPAP machine overnight. Todd provided wood for the woodstove which we used because it was about 30° the night we stayed there. We had a couple of questions when we first arrived and Todd responded very quickly. His instructions were perfect and we arrive with no problem at all. The outhouse is a bit of a walk but there are signs pointing the way.
