Love this spot.
This was a great trip. Booked on super short notice and was able to stay for a night. Just us in the middle of his land. Can’t wait to come back to this spot.
Made a fire pit with rocks we found kept it small. Quiet area. Saw 2 deer in the morning. Heard some Coyotes. Such a great time.
Above and beyond!
Justin was super accommodating! It was Labor Day weekend and we needed a place to stop after our long journey. He said he was full, but we were welcome to put the Airstream in his meadow! He took the time to get us situated, above and beyond!!!
This place is pure magic. There may be a few different spots where they may have you camp, but any are as epic as any site I’ve ever seen. The sites are positioned up the mountain overlooking Henefer and the valley. There are simply spectacular unobstructed 360 views, and the remote isolation is just perfect. And we met Justin and his mother who were both so helpful and welcoming. This is a gem of a find.
Staying on Justin’s land was an incredible experience. I enjoyed my time with his mother when I arrived, who showed me to the many available camping spots and how to navigate the cattle gates. You’ll have more to explore in a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I’m so glad to have had a night exploring those beautiful hills. Thanks Justin!
Justin is a hero!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Here are some reasons why: 1- we have two GSD’s. They are very well behaved but they like a lot of room to wander. We had an entire side of a mountain range. Ok, maybe not the entire but it felt like it because we were the only ones here. 2-The views morning and night were spectacular. We have a drone and could use it without anyone or thing in the way. 3-We had a 28’ fully self-sufficient RV w/generator (although we didn’t use it since we have propane and battery lighting). It was cool at night so we didn’t need the A/C. 4-we have a ‘19 Chevrolet Duramax and pulling up hills and across pastures was a breeze. (Yes, we were in an clean pasture). I saved the best for last, 5-The Host!! I’d tried for two weeks to find RV camping spots from Brigham to Salt Lake and everyplace was full. Id never heard if Outdoorsy and was skeptical but Justin responded right away. Justin texted a Pin and made a courtesy call to make sure he could place us in just the right spot. Justin followed up with a courtesy text a day I to our stay to make sure we were doing ok and enjoying our stay. Thank you Justin =^^= Davina & Mike (Tucson, AZ)
Quiet and stunning views
Our stay here was fantastic! Camp site 4 is up a dirt road and far from any other people, houses, anything. It was just us and the elk, deer, & coyotes. The sunset was beautiful and there were so many stars we had trouble finding familiar constellations. It was windy when we got there, but it died down by bedtime and we spent a cozy night in our rooftop tent. Ten out of ten.
