Glamping Canyonlands is an off grid property with three 16.5 ft and one 23ft bell canvas tents. In this tent, guests will have spacious 16.5 ft bell tent and private decks, furnished with a 10" foam queen mattress fitted with bedding, seating for two, area rugs, end tables, LED candles, string lights, extra blankets, portable heater (bring own 1lb propane tank), board games, first aid kit, hand sanitizer, phone battery pack, lantern, lighter, deck chairs, picnic table and private firepit with grill top. One of the things that makes Glamping Canyonlands so ideal is our location. We are at the middle point between Arches National Park/Moab and The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park will provide stunning scenery and sweeping vistas, world class hiking and climbing; and all this on the path less traveled and without heavy crowds. The ever-popular Arches/Moab area is also fantastic. Here the restaurants, shopping, mountain biking, arches, scenic wonders and fantastic cliffs justify the heavy crowds and faster pace. Regardless of your preferences, our glampground gives you the best opportunity to experience both of these awe-inspiring places! Stretch your legs out after a long day of adventure and enjoy this spacious 16.5-foot luxury bell tent. The deck and lounge chairs for this accommodation face west towards the sunset. This is also the most private tent in the glampground, offering the least light pollution which makes evening stargazing the best on the property. The closest tent neighbor you will have is approximately 50 yards away. We have other tents with different views. If you would like a different view, please see our other listings. You can check in anytime after 3pm. We have a self check in process in place for arrivals after 7pm. Once we know your estimated arrival time and if it's after 7pm, we will send you the details on how to check in. How to get here - Save the directions laid out! There is a good chance you won’t have service to reference this later. *Type in Glamping Canyonlands and we will come up on Google. *66 West UT-211 Monticello, UT 84535. *We are just .5 miles or a couple minute drive as soon as you make the turn from HWY 191 onto HWY 211. *Pull into the gravel parking lot on the right hand side. You will see “private property, private drive” signs. *There is NO parking next to your tent. We need to keep traffic off the land to mend the damage done during construction. *If coming after sunset, it will be dark and the gravel road, will come up quick! :) *If arriving during daylight, almost immediately when entering HWY 211, you will see our canvas bell tents and a green building which is the bathroom. *If arriving after dark, you may be able to see solar lights on the ground. If coming from Moab, load your GPS or any other service related needs before leaving town. The drive to us is rural with no service. If coming from Monticello, you will have service most of the way. However once you pass a sign called, Elk Meadows and a large beautiful cabin on the right, service will start to fade. By the time you make it down the large hill “Peters Hill”, you will no longer have service. We do not have WIFI and service is limited. Please, no shoes in the tent, especially on the carpets. There is a tray by the opening for your shoes. To help move your luggage, there is a cart behind the bathroom for your use. We have 2 very friendly dogs, Crow and Raven. If they are around, they will come say hi. Please keep an eye out for them when coming and going with your vehicle. We have dogs but we do not allow other dogs to stay on property. We recommend bringing your own drinking water. We haul water from town, but it is not the best tasting drinking water. Please keep your tent zipped up. In the summertime we have moths and in the winter we have frost. There is no insulation inside the tents so whatever the temperature is outside, it will be inside the tent as well. You can zip open the windows in the mornings if it gets too warm. Please zip them back up before you leave. Desert nights are chilly. Beanies, warm socks and slippers are some of the things we suggest to keep yourself comfortable. We do have propane heaters in the tents. They take the 16 ounce or 1 pound small green tanks. With the heat setting on low, one tank lasts around five hours; with the heat setting on high, one tank lasts around two hours. You can pick them up before you arrive or we always keep a small supply of tanks on site for $7.00 should you need them. If arriving after hours, let us know if you want to purchase and I will put them in your tent. We take cash or Venmo (keshia-joot) What to expect in the tents: -Bed with sheets, pillows and duck down comforter -Extra blankets -Lounge chairs for two -LED string lights -LED candles -Lantern to walk to the bathroom/parking lot -Board Games -Phone Battery Pack (bring your cord) -Portable Heater (bring 1lb propane tank) -First Aid Kit -Hand Sanitizer -Local Guide Book -You have a private fire ring which can be used for grilling as well. This is located directly behind the bathroom. -If there is a county fire ban, we will have to adhere to it & no fires will be allowed. French press coffee for 2 (Desert Sunset Tent, up to 4) is left outside your tent every morning around sunrise. If you do not want coffee, please let us know. We have a communal kitchen area where you will find an outdoor sink, 2 propane stove tops, pot, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, grilling supplies and dish soap. There is no refrigerator so keep that in mind when getting groceries. *The grocery store in Monticello (Blue Mountain Groceries) is closed on Sundays. There is a communal off grid bathroom with hot running water for showers and a flushing toilet. This is shared with the camp so please be mindful of your time. Also, water is limited as we haul water from town so please be mindful of usage. We would prefer our guests not smoke on the property but if you would like to, smoking is only allowed at the parking lot or inside your vehicle. Do not flick the cigarette butts onto the ground. Make sure they are completely out before discarding them. No smoking is allowed by the tents. Bring a telescope if you have one as the night sky is one of the best features of this property! No obstructions so you will have clear views of the brilliant sky. *We recommend downloading The SkyView Lite app and The Moon app. This will help you determine a full night of stairs or a full moon (weather permitting). Hush hours are 11:00pm - 6:00am. YOGA! We offer yoga classes for our guests for a discounted rate of $20.00 per person. If you are interested, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Any or no experience levels are welcome! Yoga mats are included. Class days and hours are: Thursday - 7:30am Friday - 7:30am and 9:30am Saturday - 7:30am Please check out our visitor information on our website for packing lists & more details of what to expect while you stay here. Our place is rustic and simple at the moment. We are a new business (only just opened October 2020) and as we grow, we will be improving. We will always be working on the property to improve your experience. Also, we live on property so if you need anything, we are never far away! There usually is some highway noise from HWY 191 but around 11pm it almost disappears.

We stayed for two nights at Glamping Canyonlands, and I'd readily recommend it to anyone looking for a stay near the Needles side of Canyonlands National Park, which is a close drive down the road. The tents were spacious and thoughtfully decorated, and the hosts were very welcoming. We loved waking up to beautiful sunrises in the high desert and witnessing the incredible show of stars and planets at night. It's located near the road and easy to find. The area around Monticello and Moab has spotty coverage, so I'd recommend downloading an offline map via Google before you leave.

This place was beyond our expectations! Keisha and her husband were wonderful hosts, they even built us a fire to watch the stars and brought us fresh coffee super early in the morning! Their spaces are beautiful and very thought out with nice touches that add to the ambiance - I can’t wait to see it when it’s 100% complete! You should definitely put this on your list of places to stay, I can’t wait to come back ❤️

We stayed for one night here and would recommend it highly. The tent was beautiful and spacious, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the bathroom was cleaner than some Mariotts and Hiltons. There is a small kitchen where we cooked basic things. The stargazing was amazing and we were able to take some great photos of milky way. It was our first experience off grid and we loved it. There were board games to keep us entertained and fresh coffee was served in the morning. We had a great chat with Eric and felt very welcomed.

I so recommend this wonderful, unique and magical place with great hosts. The tent was decorated beautifully and had a very cozy queen bed with a thick down comforter and comfortable pillows. The stars were very bright and I've only seen the Milky Way so clearly on an ocean voyage on a sailboat before this. The hosts are kind and extra responsive and helpful. And watching dawn break amidst the canyons....

My tent at dawn. <3

We had a magical time glamping with Keshia and Erik. They were awesome, super communicative hosts and really put so many thoughtful touches into the land, which translated into a really unique guest experience. Keshia was kind enough to provide us with a couple propane canisters for the buddy heater in the tent as we arrived a little unprepared. There were a cpuple pretty cold nights and that was a lifesaver haha

They provide lots of blankets, a battery pack to charge phones, and lights inside the tent + a lantern to use walking to the bathrooom at night.

The kitchen was super cute, the bathroom situation was AWESOME - hot running water for showers at the end of long hiking days was so so appreciated. We also loved our little personal firepit and the coffee service every morning. This area of canyonlands (closer to the needles side) is amazing, couldn't recommend it enough. Make sure to do the Druid Arch hike in Needles, it's stunning, about 11 miles, moderate effort - really worth it.

We will absolutely be back, excited to enjoy this place during the warmer months and to see what Keshia and Erik built by the time we visit next.
