Genny and her husband were the most hospitable, kind and welcoming hosts I've ever had the good fortune of meeting through Hipcamp! We got in pretty late in the evening--just after sunset--and Genny gave us a wonderful tour of the farm. We got to meet the alpacas, chickens, llama and horse, as well as feed the goats. We even got to hold baby goats! It was a truly magical evening. We fell asleep under a full canopy of stars and awoke after sunrise to the most beautiful tree covered, golden hills and fresh coffee from Genny and her husband!

Their farm--Starry Hollow Farm--has a small farm store in the works where they sell fresh eggs from their chickens and a host of other goods from local farmers and artists! (We bought jam, salsa, lavender bug spray etc.)

I can't recommend staying here enough. Genny and her husband were some of the nicest people we met on our road trip across the country and really made us feel at home. Definitely stop off here if you're able to!

We had a wonderful time at Starry Hollow Alpaca rescue farm. We have three young children and it was just the best two days. We never got to meet the host, Genny, but she was responsive to the texts and gave us clear directions to the campsite on their grounds once we arrived. Her husband Shayne welcomed us after we got settled in and was very friendly making sure we had everything we needed. He gave us and our three young kids a tour of the farm and let us hold their baby goats the evening we arrived. It is a beautiful and well run rescue farm. One of our favorite parts was being able to get fresh, drinkable spring water coming up from the ground right by our campsite. It was cold and tasted so great. We were able to explore trails and hikes right next to our campsite. Our kids loved all this farm had to offer and we would definitely consider another stay in the future!

I love alpacas. The farm was very nice, very private. Hosts were wonderful! We got to hold baby goats and pet alpacas. That was very nice. We only regret having travel issues that kept us from arriving on time. 🥺 would recommend!

This was a gorgeous property with incredibly kind hosts. Genny and Shayne are genuine people with a passion for what they do. They went out of their way communicating with us, and they made us feel welcome at their home. The views are stunning and the surrounding area has great outdoor adventures, but the beauty of this place is the farm itself. Make sure to meet the adorable goats, alpacas, llama, chickens, and horse while you’re exploring the farm. Take the farm tour, and buy some amazing local goods like jam and honey from local Utah farms. We had the best time, and we will definitely be back.
