Recommend for a quick overland stop
Great place for stargazing. Just off the main highway but not too far in! High clearance vehicle recommended but not necessary if your comfortable driving offroad. Would stay again.

Couldn’t make it but Spanky was helpful and went out of their way to make us a map that showed where we were going to be coming from.

Gorgeous view
Spanky went out of his way to make sure that we got the directions we needed to get to the campsite. The cast campsite had a gorgeous view of Pilot Peak.
