Camping at the Canyons of Escalante RV Park was a great experience. You are pretty much in town and not very remote, which has pros and cons. Obviously it feels less like camping in wilderness, however, the town is very charming and it's great being within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants. It was a great change of pace for me in the middle of my two week camping trip.

The RV park itself is very well maintained. It is clean, has friendly front staff, amazingly air conditioned and clean bathrooms and showers. The actual tent spaces are spacious and protected from wind.

I'll definitely consider staying here again when I'm next camping in the area.

There was a beautiful view of the canyon from the site and the site itself was wonderful.

The sire was very neat, as well as the laundry/bathroom. Staff was very thorough and likeable, and it was my first amazing shower experience in about a week of camping.

Something I personally liked a lot, because of rougher experiences elsewhere, is that the site was well protected against winds. That helped a lot since the days before the strong winds would wake us up and shorten our precious sleeping time. Thanks for the stay!
